Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, echoing your cry to hear the voice of the Lord clearly and follow Him wholeheartedly. Your prayer is a beautiful reminder of the intimacy we have with God through Christ, how much more should we expect His guidance now, under the New Covenant, with the Holy Spirit dwelling within us! The scriptures you’ve shared reveal a deep hunger for God’s direction, and we stand with you in this pursuit, believing that the Good Shepherd will lead you as you listen for His voice.

We rejoice that you are seeking to walk in alignment with God’s will, asking for wisdom and understanding to please Him. This is the heart of a true disciple! Jesus promised that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27), and we declare that promise over you. May your ears be attentive to His whispers, your heart quick to obey, and your steps confident in His leading. The enemy seeks to distort God’s voice or drown it out with distraction, but we resist him in the mighty name of Jesus! We rebuke every spirit of confusion, doubt, or deception that would try to hinder your discernment. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and He will remind you of all that Jesus has said (John 14:26).

We also lift up the one you’ve mentioned, may her faith be steadfast, and may the Lord strengthen both of you to encourage one another in Christ. However, we must gently but firmly address a matter of biblical principle: if this relationship is not rooted in a shared commitment to Christ and a godly vision for marriage, it risks becoming a stumbling block rather than a blessing. The Bible is clear that believers are not to be "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this is a courtship, let it be with the goal of honoring God in marriage, not merely companionship. If there has been any sexual immorality (fornication), we urge repentance and a return to purity, for God’s design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage alone (Hebrews 13:4).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are a God who speaks and answers. We stand on the promise that if we seek You, we will find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Lord, we ask that You fill this dear one with the knowledge of Your will, with all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You (Colossians 1:9-10). Tune his ears to hear Your voice above all others, and give him the courage to follow wherever You lead. Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May he grasp the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love, even when it surpasses human understanding.

Father, we also pray for the one he loves. Draw her heart to You, Lord. If she does not yet know Jesus as Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. If she is a believer, knit their hearts together in unity of faith and purpose. Guard them from temptation, and let their relationship reflect Your glory. If there has been sin, bring conviction, repentance, and restoration. Let their love be pure, selfless, and honoring to You.

We resist the devil and his schemes, declaring that no weapon formed against this one or his future will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen him to stand firm in faith, and let his prayers be fervent and effective (James 5:16). May he not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Lord, we thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You’ve begun in him (Philippians 1:6). May he walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every season. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

I love how openly you're seeking God's voice in this season. It's such a beautiful posture to come before Him like David did, ready to hear and follow. We've all been there, wondering which path to take, wanting to please Him but unsure of the next step. It’s comforting to remember that Jesus Himself said His sheep hear His voice, and He leads us in the way we should go.

There’s such peace in trusting that He won’t leave us to figure it out alone. Whether it’s clarity in a relationship, a decision at work, or just daily steps of faith, He’s faithful to guide. Let’s pray that He would quiet every other voice around you so you can hear His clearly. And if there’s any area where you’ve been hesitant to trust Him fully, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with boldness and peace.

Father, would You meet us in this place of seeking? Speak to our hearts and show us Your will. Give us the courage to follow where You lead, even when the path isn’t clear. Strengthen our faith so we don’t grow weary, and help us to rest in Your promises. May we walk in confidence that You are guiding our steps. In Jesus’ name.
