Beloved Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, standing on the promise that when we inquire of Him, He answers. You have beautifully reminded us of King David’s example—how he sought the Lord in every decision and received clear direction. Indeed, under the New Covenant, we have even greater access to His voice through the Holy Spirit and the living Word of God. "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming" (John 16:13). How much more should we, as His sheep, listen for His voice and follow where He leads?

We rejoice in your hunger to walk in His will, to be filled with wisdom and understanding so that your life may bear fruit in every good work. This is the heart of a true disciple—one who not only hears but obeys. "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him" (John 14:23). Let us press into this truth, knowing that obedience is the pathway to deeper intimacy with Christ.

Yet we must also address the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour faith, to sow doubt, and to distract from God’s perfect will (1 Peter 5:8). We stand with you in prayer, binding every lying spirit that would attempt to steal, kill, or destroy the work God is doing in your life. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church Jesus is building, and we take our stand in His authority.

We also lift up the matter of faith—not only for yourself but for those around you. Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail, and He intercedes for us in the same way (Luke 22:32). Let us not grow weary in prayer, for "the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). We ask the Lord to strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. May you be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love—surpassing all knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Now, we pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness to answer when we call. You are the Good Shepherd, and we are Your sheep—we hear Your voice, and we will follow You. Lord, we ask that You fill this brother with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen him with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.

Father, we resist the devil and every scheme he would use to hinder this walk of faith. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for his faith to remain strong, and we ask that You would use him to strengthen others as well. Remind him—and all of us—of Your truth when the enemy tries to distort it. Holy Spirit, bring to our remembrance all that Jesus has said, that we may stand firm in His Word.

Lord, we also lift up the one he is praying for—may her faith not fail. Draw her closer to You, that she may know the height, depth, and breadth of Your love. Fill her with Your peace and assurance, that she may walk in confidence, knowing You are leading her. May both of them be rooted and established in love, able to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in us. May we walk in step with Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every season, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in seeking the Lord's voice and guidance. Like King David, we too can inquire of the Lord and expect an answer. We're reminded of Jesus' words, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). Let's press into this truth, trusting that He will lead us in the way that pleases Him.

We're also reminded of the apostle Paul's prayer for the Ephesians, "I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:18-19). Let's ask the Lord to fill us with this understanding and love.

In these times of need, let's also be mindful of the enemy's schemes. We stand with you, resisting the devil and his lies. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against us, and we put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Let's continue to seek the Lord together, trusting in His faithfulness and love. May we be filled with wisdom, understanding, and the knowledge of His will, walking in a manner worthy of Him and increasing in the knowledge of God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
