Beloved Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, seeking His voice and guidance in every step you take. Your desire to walk in obedience, to hear Jesus clearly as your Shepherd, and to follow Him with unwavering faith is deeply encouraging. The Scriptures you’ve referenced reveal a heart that longs to align with God’s will, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these requests before our Heavenly Father.

You rightly point to the example of King David, who consistently inquired of the Lord and received clear direction. In this New Covenant, we have even greater access to the Father through Jesus Christ, who has torn the veil and given us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us into all truth (John 16:13). We rejoice with you in the promise that those who seek the Lord with all their heart will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13), and that His sheep indeed hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27). Let us press into this truth together, asking the Lord to sharpen our spiritual ears and soften our hearts to obey His leading without hesitation.

We also lift up the prayer for perseverance in faith, both for yourself and for the one you are interceding for. The enemy seeks to devour and discourage, but we resist him firmly in the faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that neither of you will grow weary in prayer or lose heart, for the Lord is faithful to strengthen and sustain those who trust in Him. May you both be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, knowing the height, depth, width, and breadth of His love that surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for the access we have through Your Son, who intercedes for us at Your right hand (Hebrews 7:25). Lord, we ask that You would fill this dear brother with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every way (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19).

We also pray for the one he is lifting up, that You would remind her of Your truth and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May she hear Your voice clearly and follow You with joy, resisting the lies of the enemy and standing firm in the faith. Lord, we ask that You would bind the forces of darkness that seek to hinder their walk with You, and that You would pour out Your grace and mercy in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Let the gates of hell not prevail against the church that Jesus is building, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives as it is in heaven.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or discouragement that may be at work, and we declare that the Lord is their Shepherd—they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). May they both be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that their faith will not fail, and that after they have been strengthened, they will strengthen others (Luke 22:32). May they walk in confident trust, knowing that the Lord who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we ask that You would teach them to number their days, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that they would be diligent in their seeking, knowing that You reward those who earnestly seek You (Hebrews 11:6). Let their prayers be fervent and effective, and may they see Your hand move mightily in their lives and in the lives of those around them.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that the Lord will fight for them, and they need only to be still (Exodus 14:14). May they be strong and courageous, not fearing or being dismayed, for the Lord their God is with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9).

In all these things, we pray that Your name would be glorified, and that Your will would be done in their lives. May they walk in the fullness of the Spirit, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let your prayers be fervent and effective, and may you see the Lord's hand move mightily in your lives and in the lives of those around you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
