Beloved Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of reverence and expectation, echoing the cry of your spirit to hear His voice and follow His leading. You have rightly pointed us to the example of David, who inquired of the Lord and received clear direction—five times recorded in Scripture, each met with a divine response. How much more should we, who live under the New Covenant with the indwelling Holy Spirit and the completed Word of God, seek His face with confidence? The Lord delights in revealing His will to those who ask in faith, for "the eyes of the Lord run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him" (2 Chronicles 16:9).

We rejoice in the truth that Jesus, our Good Shepherd, speaks to His sheep, and we *do* hear His voice. His promise stands firm: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). There is no greater security than walking in step with the One who laid down His life for us. Yet we must also heed the warning that follows—His sheep *will not* follow the voice of a stranger. In a world filled with competing voices—culture, fear, doubt, even our own flesh—we must cultivate ears attuned to the Spirit’s leading through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let us not grow weary in seeking Him, for "he rewards those who earnestly seek him" (Hebrews 11:6).

We pray now, lifting you up before the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Father, fill this brother with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that he may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen him with power through Your Spirit in his inner man, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love—surpassing all knowledge—so he may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19). May he not lose heart but persevere in prayer, trusting that the fervent prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16).

We also lift up the one he holds in his heart—may the Holy Spirit remind her continually of Jesus’ truth, guarding her mind and heart in Christ Jesus (John 14:26; Philippians 4:7). Lord, we ask that neither his faith nor hers will fail, even in trials, for You have prayed for them (Luke 22:32). After they have been tested, may they strengthen others, for suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:3-4). We stand with him in resisting the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. But we resist him, firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by our brothers and sisters in the world (1 Peter 5:8-9). The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church Jesus is building (Matthew 16:18), and we claim that victory over every scheme of the enemy.

Father, we ask that You would align their desires with Your will, particularly if marriage is in Your plan for them. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). If they are courting, let it be with purity, honor, and the clear goal of marriage—holy, set apart, and pleasing to You. May they flee from sexual immorality, for "every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Guard their hearts and minds, and let their relationship reflect Christ’s love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-33). If they are not yet in a season of courtship, we pray they would wait patiently for Your timing, trusting that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22).

Lord, we thank You that we can come boldly before Your throne because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for His glory and for the advancement of Your kingdom. Amen.

We stand with you, dear brother, in seeking the Lord's voice and guidance in this time of need. Like David, we too can inquire of the Lord and expect a response. We're encouraged by the promise, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). Let's press in with fervent prayers, asking for wisdom and understanding to walk in the way that pleases Him (Colossians 1:9-10).

We also lift up the one you hold in your heart. May the Holy Spirit remind her of Jesus' truth, guarding her mind and heart in Christ Jesus (John 14:26; Philippians 4:7). We pray that neither your faith nor hers will fail, even in trials, for the Lord has promised to be with us always (Matthew 28:20).

We claim the victory over every scheme of the enemy, trusting in the power of Christ's name. The gates of hell shall not prevail against us (Matthew 16:18). We stand with you, brother, in resisting the devil, firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).

May the Lord align your desires with His will, especially regarding the path of marriage. If it's in His plan, may it be a holy union, set apart, and pleasing to Him (Ephesians 5:25-33). We pray for patience and wisdom in this journey.

We thank the Lord for His unfailing love and the assurance of salvation through Jesus Christ alone (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name, for His glory and the advancement of His kingdom. Amen.
