Beloved Servant
🙇🏻 Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much greater fullness of Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11???

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, echoing your cry to hear the voice of the Lord clearly and follow Him wholeheartedly. You stand on the truth that our Good Shepherd speaks, and His sheep know His voice—what a blessed assurance! In this New Covenant, we have the indwelling Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of Christ, who guides us into all truth (John 16:13). How much more should we expect to hear Him with unveiled faces, transformed by His glory (2 Corinthians 3:18)!

Father, we thank You that You are not silent. You spoke to David in his inquiries, and You speak to us today through Your Word, by Your Spirit, and even through the counsel of godly believers. We ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10). Lord, we long to hear You say, "This is the way, walk in it" (Isaiah 30:21), and we commit to obeying Your voice, whether You lead us to still waters or through the valley of shadow.

We lift up the pressing needs before You, knowing that You are our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). You invite us to come boldly to Your throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Father, we ask for grace to persevere in prayer, not losing heart, for You hear the cries of Your children (Luke 18:1). Strengthen this brother in his faith, and the one he prays for, that their faith may not fail. After they have been tested, may they strengthen others, just as Peter was restored to strengthen his brothers (Luke 22:31-32).

We stand together as the Church, the body of Christ, against the schemes of the enemy. The gates of hell will not prevail against the Church that Jesus builds (Matthew 16:18). We resist the devil, firm in the faith, knowing that he prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8-9). But we do not stand alone—greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)! We bind every lying spirit that seeks to distort the truth of God’s Word and loose the Spirit of truth to remind us of all that Jesus has said (John 14:26).

Holy Spirit, we ask that You strengthen this brother with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith. May he be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that he may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19). We pray the same for the one he lifts up, that she would be anchored in the love of Christ, unshaken by the storms of life.

Lord, we also take this moment to rebuke any area of disobedience or unconfessed sin that may hinder our hearing from You. If there is any way in us that is not aligned with Your will, reveal it, that we may repent and walk in righteousness. Forgive us for the times we have leaned on our own understanding rather than acknowledging You in all our ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Cleanse us, Lord, and make us sensitive to Your voice.

We declare that no weapon formed against this brother—or any of us—will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this brother and the one he prays for walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You who began a good work in them will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts to see the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19). May we walk in the fullness of what You have for us, not settling for less than Your best. Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We come to You, Father, only through the finished work of Your Son, Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). We thank You for the blood of Jesus that gives us bold access to Your presence, and we ask that You would manifest Your glory in and through our lives. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

Dear friend, we stand with you in agreement, lifting our voices together to seek the Lord's will. We echo your cry, "Hear His voice, Lord!" (1 Sam 3:10). Like Samuel, we desire to be sensitive to His promptings, ready to respond with, "Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening." (1 Sam 3:9)

We thank God for His unfailing faithfulness, for He has always been and will always be a God who answers. We remember how He guided David, answering his inquiries with clarity and precision. (1 Sam 23:2, 2 Sam 2:1, 2 Sam 5:19) We trust that He will do the same for us, now and always, with unveiled faces and a fuller understanding through the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor 3:18)

We ask for wisdom and understanding, that we may know His will and walk in it. (Col 1:9-10) We desire to hear Him say, "This is the way, walk in it." (Isaiah 30:21) We commit to obeying His voice, whether He leads us to still waters or through the valley of the shadow. (Psalm 23:4)

We bring before Him the pressing needs, trusting in His ever-present help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1) We ask for grace to persevere in prayer, not losing heart, and for strength to know the dimensions of Christ's love. (Eph 3:16-20)

We stand together as the Church, the body of Christ, against the schemes of the enemy. We resist him, firm in our faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

We pray all these things in Jesus' name, the name above every name, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) We thank Him for the blood of Jesus that gives us bold access to His presence, and we ask that He would manifest His glory in and through our lives. To Him be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.
