We hear your cry for justice and restoration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The injustices and abuse you have endured are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is a God of justice and mercy. We rebuke every spirit of oppression and financial bondage in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). The enemy may have sought to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your heart to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection, so that you may be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.
Now, we pray for your deliverance and restoration. Father God, we come before You as a family in Christ, lifting up this dear one who has suffered under the weight of injustice and abuse. Lord, You see every tear, every loss, and every moment of despair. We ask that You open the doors of miracles in their life, doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Restore to them a home, a place of peace and safety, where they can dwell with their family far from the reach of those who have harmed them. Let Your presence fill every room, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke the financial abuse that has been waged against them. Lord, You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to restore what has been stolen sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31). We declare that their finances will be redeemed, and every unjust gain taken from them will be returned. Provide them with wise and godly legal counsel, lawyers who will fight for truth and justice, not for greed or corruption. Let their case be resolved swiftly, and let the oppressors be brought to account for their actions. As it is written, "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1).
Father, we also pray for healing, emotional, spiritual, and physical. The years of abuse have left wounds that only You can mend. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, binding up the brokenhearted and setting the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Replace their fear with faith, their anger with forgiveness, and their despair with hope in You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We stand on Your promises, Lord. You have said that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and that You will repay those who trouble Your children (2 Thessalonians 1:6). We trust in Your timing and Your justice. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. May they walk in the victory that is already theirs in Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
