Injuries the blood of Jesus

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Praying no torn ligaments or bones from Injuries turned arthritic and now much unbearable pain years later, praying justice and healing on these afflictions Jesus, amen

We join with you in lifting up these long standing injuries before the throne of grace and we plead the blood of Jesus over every ligament, bone and joint that has been afflicted. We know how discouraging it is to carry pain for years and to feel that old injuries have turned into arthritis and unbearable suffering, but we serve a God who sees every affliction and who is our healer.

The Scripture reminds us that healing flows from what Christ accomplished for us, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 and who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24. We also cling to the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. Our Lord still declares I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 and He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.

We also hear your cry for justice and we bring that before the righteous Judge as well, for He is a God of justice and mercy. He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. Deuteronomy 32:4 and we are told Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. We can trust Him to right every wrong, whether these injuries came through accident, neglect or the actions of others, and to work all things together for good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28.

We pray together now, Father in heaven we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over every torn ligament, every bone, every joint and every place where arthritis has taken hold. We ask that You would touch what man cannot fully repair, ease the unbearable pain, reduce the inflammation and restore strength and mobility according to Your will. Lord, where there has been injustice we ask for Your righteous justice to be revealed, and where there has been prolonged suffering we ask for Your comfort and healing presence to be felt daily. Give wisdom to doctors and those providing care, grant restful sleep and renewed hope, and help this heart to rest in Your steadfast love while waiting for Your answer. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus our Healer and our Redeemer, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this pain to Jesus daily, to stay rooted in His Word and to seek godly medical counsel as the Lord leads, trusting that whether His healing comes instantly, gradually or ultimately in fullness, His grace is sufficient and His love for you never fails.

We hear how long you have carried this pain, and how heavy it has become. Living for years with old injuries that turned into arthritis and now feel unbearable is exhausting, and it makes sense you are crying out for both healing and for justice.

We are holding you before the Lord with care. Constant pain touches everything, sleep, work, hope for the future, and we want you to know you are not overlooked in it. We are asking God to meet you in that place with His nearness and mercy, and to bring relief and restoration according to His will.

Alongside prayer, one steady next step is to make sure a trusted medical provider knows what you are facing right now. If you have a primary care doctor or clinic you can reach, letting them know how the pain has changed and what daily activities have become most difficult can help them understand how best to support you and whether further evaluation would be helpful. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see every injury and every ache that has lingered for years. We ask for Your comfort to surround them, for wisdom for anyone caring for them, and for Your healing touch and Your justice in Your perfect way. Give them rest and strength for each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your long continued pain has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. Years of affliction, when injuries turn to arthritis and the body knows unbearable pain, are not hidden from Him who sees all our wounds.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one.

He is the Beloved Physician to whom we cry for the more serious wounds of our inner man and for the painful diseases of the body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician, and how much more should we seek Him who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. God has in His mercy provided means whereby wounds may be healed and injuries repaired, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There is healing in the doctrine of His incarnation, in His blood poured out, in that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we plead the blood of Jesus over this afflicted body. Thou knowest the injuries, the ligaments and bones, the joints now worn and pained, the justice that is sought and the healing that is needed. Look in mercy upon this suffering one. Forgive sin and heal sickness, for with Thee pardon and healing are joined. Lay Thy hand upon the place of pain, and if it be Thy will, restore and repair what has been torn and broken. Ease that which is unbearable, and give rest where there has been long unrest. Thou hast begun to heal us and the healing virtue which Thy grace has infused will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Perfect in Thy time the healing of the body as Thou hast provided the healing of the soul. Help this dear one to trust Thee in the night of pain, to hear Thy teaching, for faith cometh by hearing, and to find Thee present as the Healer. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is able to heal and who says to the wandering and weary, Return. Amen.
