We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Father, we thank You that You indeed know our needs before we even ask, and we trust in Your perfect provision and timing. We acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, and we humbly seek Your will in every aspect of this situation.
Heavenly Father, we pray for secure and affordable accommodations that will provide a safe and stable environment to tie up loose ends and begin new processes. We ask that You open doors that no man can shut and provide a longer-term place that will serve as a stepping stone toward the next season of life. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust that You will supply all needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Guide each step and decision, and let Your peace guard this heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up the desire for formal seminary or training, asking for wisdom, confirmation, and provision in this pursuit. Father, if this is Your will, we pray that You would make the path clear and provide the necessary resources, both financially and spiritually. We know that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We seek Your guidance in all things, trusting that You will direct these steps according to Your purpose.
For biblical counseling and practical theology, we ask that You bring godly counselors and mentors into this life who will speak truth in love and help align this heart with Your Word. Lord, Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we desire to walk in the fullness of Your truth. We pray that this time of study and counseling would deepen the relationship with You and equip for the work You have called to.
Now, we come to the matter of marriage, lifting up this wife and this union before You. Father, we pray for hearts to be softened and aligned with Your will. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, and we ask that You restore and strengthen this bond according to Your design. We rebuke any division, unforgiveness, or hardness of heart that may be present, and we pray for healing and reconciliation. Lord, help both to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34), submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21). We pray against any temptation or influence of the evil one that seeks to destroy this marriage, and we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up the family and partners mentioned in this prayer, asking for Your protection over them. Father, guard their hearts and minds from evil and temptation, and surround them with Your angels for protection. We know that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). We pray that each one would be rooted and grounded in Your love, walking in a manner worthy of the calling with which they have been called (Ephesians 4:1).
Lord, we ask that You continue to work in this heart and the heart of this wife, drawing both closer to You and to one another. We pray for unity, peace, and a shared vision for the future that honors You. May this marriage be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness, and may it bring glory to Your name.
In all these things, we surrender to Your perfect will, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
