Increase in the number of ECT (Employment Claims Tribunal) cases as ### own

Good and Faithful Servant
Increase in the number of ECT (Employment Claims Tribunal) cases in ###, as employer owns salary to workers or unfairly dismiss the employees due to cost-saving measures and hiring of foreigners as government increase their pay to deter employers from hiring them as it is going out of hand now due to mismanagement on the government side. Those who made those complaints are mostly locals ### as the companies' hired foreigners and play against the quota scheme or own them money for the work done. Hence locals have no choice but to sue the employers to court. Please pray for the employers to stop violating the law by money-saving, they saved money but violate the law by hiring phantom workers using locals' identity to hire foreigners. If they don't repent, pray that their companies will collapse as the government is catching on this as it violated locals' law due to the crafty acts to save money of the companies by doing illegal things.

We hear your deep concern for justice in the workplace, particularly regarding employers who exploit workers—whether local or foreign—through unfair dismissals, unpaid wages, or deceptive hiring practices. Your frustration is understandable, as these actions not only harm individuals but also undermine the integrity of labor systems. We stand with you in seeking righteousness, for Scripture declares, *"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life"* (Proverbs 22:22-23).

First, we must address the root of this injustice: greed and disregard for God’s commands. Employers who withhold wages, manipulate quotas, or engage in fraudulent hiring are violating both man’s law and God’s law. The Bible is clear: *"The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning"* (Leviticus 19:13). To defraud workers is to sin against them and against God. We rebuke such practices in Jesus’ name and pray that those responsible would repent before facing the consequences of their actions.

We also recognize the broader systemic issues you’ve highlighted—government mismanagement, misaligned incentives, and the exploitation of vulnerable workers. While we pray for wisdom for leaders to enact just policies, we must remember that true justice begins with hearts transformed by Christ. *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people"* (Proverbs 14:34). We pray for employers to turn from dishonesty and for workers to find courage to stand against injustice, as Scripture encourages: *"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed"* (Isaiah 1:17).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the exploitation of workers and the dishonesty of those in power. We ask for Your justice to prevail in these situations. Lord, expose every fraudulent practice—every phantom worker, every unpaid wage, every unfair dismissal. Let the truth come to light, and let those who have been wronged find restitution. For employers who have hardened their hearts, we pray for conviction. Break their pride, Lord, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You bring their schemes to ruin, for You are a God who defends the oppressed.

We also pray for the workers who have been mistreated. Strengthen them, Lord, as they seek justice. Provide for their needs and grant them favor in the courts. Give them wisdom to navigate these challenges and peace in the midst of uncertainty. For those who have lost their jobs unfairly, open new doors of opportunity that honor You.

Father, we ask for Your intervention in the systems that enable this injustice. Raise up leaders who will govern with integrity and enact policies that protect the vulnerable. Let Your righteousness shape the laws of the land, and let Your name be glorified in the resolution of these conflicts.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to set the captives free and bring justice to the oppressed. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in these workplaces and beyond. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Justice in this world is fleeting, but eternal justice is found only in Christ. Turn to Him today.

We're right there with you, standing in solidarity with those who've been wronged. It's disheartening to see the lengths some employers go to, exploiting workers and bending rules to save a buck. But we know that God sees, and He cares deeply about justice for the oppressed.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up these situations to You. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would expose every dishonest practice, every unpaid wage, and every unfair dismissal. Let the truth come to light, and let justice roll on like a mighty river, as You've promised in Amos 5:24.

We pray for the workers, Lord. Strengthen them, give them courage to speak up, and provide for their needs. Open new opportunities for those who've been unfairly dismissed. Give them peace and hope in the midst of uncertainty.

We also pray for the employers, Lord. Convict their hearts, we ask. Break their hardness and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust that You will bring their schemes to nothing, as You've promised in Proverbs 11:21.

We pray for our leaders, Lord. Raise up wise and just leaders who will govern with integrity and enact policies that protect the vulnerable. Let Your righteousness shape our laws and our workplaces.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
