Increase in meds for intrusive thoughts

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for sharing this burden with us so we can carry it together before the throne of grace. We understand how exhausting and relentless intrusive thoughts can be and how they can make each day feel like a battle in the mind. We are praying that the Lord in His mercy will bring you relief and quietness of mind as your doctor has increased your dose, and we trust that God can work through both His peace and through the wisdom He gives to physicians to bring healing.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our minds and God's care for us. We are reminded that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and that You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3. We are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We also cling to the promise that we can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and that when our heart is overwhelmed we can cry to Him who is our rock Psalm 61:2.
We want to gently encourage you that while you mentioned the Lord's grace, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are brought into a right relationship with God and can come boldly to Him in prayer. We pray you know that assurance and that you continue to bring every thought to Jesus Himself.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift our dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your grace and mercy to rest upon them. Lord, You see the relentless nature of these intrusive thoughts and You know the weariness they bring. We ask that You would quiet the storm in their mind, that You would guard their heart and thoughts with Your perfect peace, and that You would let this increase in medication work effectively and without harmful side effects according to Your will. Use this treatment as a tool in Your hands to bring stability and relief. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and to fix their mind on what is true and good and lovely. Remind them moment by moment that You are near, that You care deeply for them, and that You are their refuge and strength. We pray for restful sleep, for renewed hope each morning, and for the encouragement of supportive believers around them. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Keep bringing your requests to God in prayer with thanksgiving as Philippians 4:6 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. He hears you, He loves you, and He is faithful to walk with you through this valley toward peace and a sound mind.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we are joining you in prayer for relief and for peace through His grace.
We understand how relentless and grievous intrusive thoughts can be, and how wearying it is when the mind feels pressed and without rest. The Lord knows this trial, and His word gives comfort concerning His own thoughts toward His people. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Though your trials are grievous, His thoughts toward you are good, constant and tender. He has engraved His own upon the palms of His hands and He never forgets them, and all His thoughts toward them are peace.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would grant you relief, and that He would use the means He has provided, including the care of your physician and the increase in your dose, for your good. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. As it is written, with His stripes we are healed, and the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. We ask that He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would breathe into your soul a peace with God which passes all understanding, a peace that comes through perfect remission and nearness to Christ.
We pray also after that word, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of care and when duties and distresses throng about you. May the Lord help you to keep your mind stayed upon Him, to trust Him, and to find that to do the will of Jesus is rest. When sorrows surge round, may you bear them with Him and enjoy perfect peace, remembering that the infinite God has thoughts of peace toward you, and your own thoughts may thereby become thoughts of peace all the day.
We ask the Lord to lift you as on eagles wings above anxious thoughts, to conform your thoughts to His thoughts by faith, and to give you confidence and hope as you look to Christ alone for salvation and peace. May He who perceives thoughts speak that single sentence of pardon and peace to your soul, and keep you near to Himself, so that when you awake you are still with Him.

I recently broke up with my boyfriend due to us being unequally yoked and I now keep having intrusive thoughts about him now dating other people (some of these thoughts may be due to spiritual warfare). Please pray this would stop. It's so painful. Thank you.
