We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find true salvation. It is through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to God’s presence, and it is only by faith in Him that we are saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You would surround her with godly friendships that sharpen her faith and draw her closer to You. Proverbs 13:20 tells us, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Lord, bring believers into her life who will encourage her in Your Word, pray with her, and hold her accountable in love. Guard her heart from relationships that would lead her astray or compromise her values, for Your Word warns in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Regarding her desire for a loving relationship, we pray that she would first seek You with all her heart, trusting that You will add all these things to her (Matthew 6:33). If it is Your will for her to marry, prepare her for a godly spouse—a man who loves You above all else, who will lead her in righteousness, and cherish her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We rebuke any impatience or temptation to settle for less than Your best, for Your Word says in Proverbs 19:2, "It is not good to have zeal without knowledge; nor being hasty with one’s feet and missing the way." Help her to wait on Your timing, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, we also ask that You would grant her peace and focus as she pursues her studies. Remove anxiety and stress from her heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). May her mind be stayed on You, so that she may experience the perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Isaiah 26:3).
We rebuke any spirit of distraction, procrastination, or overwhelm that may be hindering her. Instead, fill her with wisdom, discipline, and a hunger for knowledge that glorifies You. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." May her studies be an act of worship to You, and may she find joy in the purpose You have for her.
Father, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. If there are wounds, past hurts, or areas of her heart that need healing, we ask that You would touch them with Your love. Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Fill her with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let her walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ—fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw her into a deeper relationship with You. May she seek Your face daily, spend time in Your Word, and cultivate a life of prayer. Let her know that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen her faith, increase her trust in You, and let her experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your ways.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
