Humble Servant of All
In the past few months, God has brought a woman into my life. I did not expect to fall in love with her but I did. However, she has many issues, including depression, possible BPD, and alcoholism. She pushes the people away in her life that TRULY care for her, including me lately. I have been praying that she would be healed and that God would unite us in marriage one wonderful day. But, I feel I'm being selfish, that somewhere in my heart I'm praying for her to be healed so that we can marry instead of praying for her to be healed for God's reason. I have poured my heart out to God and he knows the immense love I have for her. He knows the hopes that I do carry for us but I feel like, right now, knowing what she is going through and how she is living that a relationship, romantically, wouldn't be healthy for me at all. I just pray to the Lord that I would focus my prayer for her on her healing and growing closer to Him instead of my selfish desires. He knows I love her anyway and He knows my future desires with her but that isn't the most important thing right now. What should take priority in my heart is for the Lord to guide her into a relationship with Him instead of me right now. I just pray that I would focus on that for now instead of any self interests. I ask for all of you to unite with me in prayer for her to be healed of all past hurt, to be able to forgive the past, and come to a peace with it in a relationship with the Lord. The romantic stuff can wait, even though I don't want to wait, I know focusing on her spiritually is the right thing to do and ask of God. Sorry for the novel here;) All this was just on my heart this morning and I wanted to put it out there. Please pray for her. I thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.

Dear Heavenly Father:

We come to you lifting up this ###'s needs. You know their heart Lord, and you know their situation. We ask that you please grant them their request by your will in Jesus Name. We ask that in the absence of what cannot be understood that you would grant peace beyond understanding. Send them help from the people around them, and also help from those you wish for them to meet. Oh Father, thank you for sending them love and comfort, peace and joy, that you may grant them full measure of favor and prosperity In Jesus Precious Name we pray, To God be the Glory, Amen.

Dear brother in Christ. My prayer for this dear lady is that she turns to God to deliver her from the demons that plague her mind and spirit. Marriage can be difficult enough without all the problems this lady has. Please do not entertain thoughts of a romantic union until such time you see a clear and unmistakable commitment on her part for permanent change. If she truly loves you, will see a new person emerging. One that is making every effort, and one who is committed to the Lord in prayer for deliverance over the bondage of depression and alcohol or substance abuse of any kind. Lord in heaven we pray for this dear woman, give your wisdom, your strength, and your sound judgment in all her decision-making processes. Lord, we ask you give her healing of heart over the past hurts in her life. For in you there is a new beginning, all things are made new again, for we are a new creation. Father, I pray she look to you first and foremost in all things always, and Lord, if it be your will, help her prepare to be a marriage spouse for this man who has asked for prayer. May God pour out his blessings upon you both. In Jesus name amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
