in the name of the almighty lord Jesus, I ask the heavenly father with the blood

Isaac Samuel Lubwama

Good and Faithful Servant
in the name of the almighty lord Jesus, I ask the heavenly father with the blood of the lamb together with Michael and his angels to kill all snakes, forbidden fruits, sin, death, women amen

We hear your fervent cry and stand with you in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through which all power in heaven and on earth is given. We must first address some concerns in your request, as we seek to align our prayers with God’s holy Word.

You invoke the blood of the Lamb, which is powerful and precious—it is by the blood of Jesus that we are redeemed, cleansed from sin, and made righteous before God (Revelation 12:11, 1 Peter 1:18-19). However, we must be cautious not to treat the blood of Jesus as a magical incantation or a tool to be wielded apart from faith and submission to God’s will. The blood of Christ is not a weapon for us to command but a gift of grace that covers our sins when we repent and walk in obedience. We are called to plead the blood in faith, not to manipulate it for our own purposes (Hebrews 10:19-22).

You also call upon Michael and his angels. While it is true that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), we must remember that our prayers are to be directed to God alone. Jesus taught us to pray to the Father in His name (John 14:13-14), and we are not to pray to or through angels, as this can lead to idolatry and detract from the sole mediatory role of Christ (1 Timothy 2:5). The archangel Michael himself would not accept worship or prayer, as he is a servant of God, not a deity (Revelation 19:10, Jude 1:9). Let us keep our focus on the Lord, who alone is worthy of our worship and our prayers.

Your request to "kill all snakes, forbidden fruits, sin, death, [and] women" is troubling and requires careful biblical examination. First, let us address the imagery of snakes. In Scripture, the serpent is a symbol of Satan and sin (Genesis 3:1, Revelation 12:9), and we are indeed called to resist the devil and his schemes (James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9). However, we must be cautious not to literalize this imagery in a way that could lead to fear or misplaced aggression. The battle we fight is spiritual, not physical (Ephesians 6:12), and our weapons are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We do not "kill" sin or Satan in a literal sense—Christ has already defeated sin and death through His death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:54-57), and we are called to walk in that victory by putting to death the deeds of the flesh through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:13, Colossians 3:5).

The mention of "forbidden fruits" seems to reference the fall of man in Genesis 3, where sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. While we are to resist temptation and flee from sin (1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Timothy 2:22), we must also recognize that the fruit itself was not inherently evil—it was the act of disobedience that brought death and separation from God. Our focus should be on cultivating the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and walking in obedience to God’s Word, not on cursing or destroying symbolic objects.

Your inclusion of "women" in this list is deeply concerning and must be addressed with biblical clarity. Women are not to be equated with sin, death, or forbidden fruit. God created both male and female in His image (Genesis 1:27), and women are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), just as men are. The Bible honors women as co-heirs of the grace of life (1 Peter 3:7), and many women played pivotal roles in God’s redemptive plan, from Deborah the judge (Judges 4-5) to Ruth the faithful daughter-in-law (Ruth 1-4) to Mary the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:26-38). To lump women together with sin and death is not only unbiblical but also harmful and dishonoring to God’s design. We must repent of any thought or word that diminishes the dignity of women, who are precious in God’s sight.

Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word, lifting up your heart to the Lord with clarity and reverence.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Lamb who was slain and the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We thank You for the power of the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and gives us bold access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we stand against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We resist the devil and his lies, knowing that he is already defeated by the cross of Christ. We put on the full armor of God, that we may stand firm against the wiles of the evil one.

Father, we ask for Your protection over our minds, hearts, and spirits. Guard us from deception and help us to walk in the truth of Your Word. We renounce any fear, bitterness, or ungodly thoughts that may have taken root in our hearts, and we ask You to uproot them by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Fill us with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Lord, we confess that sin has no place in our lives. We ask You to search our hearts and reveal any areas where we have fallen short of Your glory. Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Help us to walk in holiness and obedience, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in every area of our lives. We declare that sin and death have no dominion over us, for we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us.

Father, we lift up the relationships between men and women in the body of Christ. We pray for godly marriages that reflect the love of Christ for His church, and we ask You to raise up men and women who will honor one another as fellow image-bearers of God. Help us to see one another through Your eyes, with love, respect, and dignity. We repent of any attitudes or words that have dishonored women or men, and we ask for Your forgiveness and healing.

Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that the serpent’s head is crushed, and that through Christ, we have authority over all the power of the enemy. Help us to walk in that authority with humility, wisdom, and dependence on You. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we be instruments of Your peace and love in this world.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to meditate on the truth of God’s Word and to fill your heart and mind with Scripture. The psalmist writes, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). When we saturate ourselves in God’s truth, we are better equipped to discern the lies of the enemy and to walk in the victory that Christ has already won for us.

Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We do not fight with hatred or curses but with love, truth, and the weapons of our warfare, which are mighty in God. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, who is our hope, our strength, and our salvation. He has overcome the world, and in Him, we are more than conquerors (John 16:33, Romans 8:37).

If there is any area of your life where you are struggling with sin, fear, or ungodly thoughts, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord in repentance and to seek the support of godly believers who can walk alongside you in accountability and prayer. The enemy would love to keep you isolated and bound, but Christ has set you free, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Finally, let us always remember that our prayers are not about commanding God or His creation but about aligning our hearts with His will. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). As we submit to God’s will, we can trust that He is working all things together for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Walk in faith, dear one, and know that the Lord is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

Beloved, we stand with you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our mighty Savior. We've been reflecting on your prayer request and want to share some more thoughts with you.

First, we want to reassure you that God is always listening and ready to help. He cares deeply about the struggles you're facing, and He wants to strengthen and encourage you. As it says in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by the presence of sin, temptation, and the enemy's schemes in your life. It's natural to want to fight against these things, but we must remember that our battle is spiritual, not physical. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Instead of focusing on cursing or destroying symbols of sin, like snakes or forbidden fruits, we should focus on putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). This armor includes truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God. When we put on this armor, we're ready to stand against the enemy's attacks and walk in victory.

We also want to encourage you to focus on cultivating the fruit of the Spirit in your life (Galatians 5:22-23). This fruit includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As you focus on growing in these areas, you'll naturally see sin and its effects decreasing in your life.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God loves and values you greatly. You are His child, and He has a wonderful plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Don't let the enemy make you feel worthless or defeated. Instead, claim the truth of God's word over your life, and walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus has already won for you.

Let's continue to pray together, beloved. We lift you up to the Lord, asking Him to fill you with His peace, wisdom, and strength. Help you to stand firm in your faith, and to walk in obedience to His word. Give you the courage to resist temptation and to turn away from sin. And, Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of our hearts that need healing or repentance, and help us to walk in the light of Your truth.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
