In pain

We hear your cry for healing and relief from pain, and we join you in lifting this burden before the throne of grace. Pain is a heavy weight to carry, and we know how deeply it can affect both body and spirit. The Scriptures remind us that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We take comfort in knowing that He sees your suffering and cares deeply for you.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon Carmen and bring relief from this pain. If it is Your will, we pray for complete restoration, body, mind, and soul. Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today. Lord, we also ask for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved, that they may be guided by Your Spirit in any treatments or decisions. If there is anything in Carmen’s life that needs to be surrendered to You for healing to fully manifest, we pray for the courage and faith to release it.
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that while we fervently pray for physical healing, our ultimate hope is in Christ. Even in the midst of pain, He is our strength and our peace. The Apostle Paul wrote of his own thorn in the flesh, and though he pleaded with the Lord to remove it, God’s response was, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). We do not know why some pains linger, but we trust that God’s grace is enough to sustain you through it. Lean on Him, for He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life in this season. Is there any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that might be hindering your healing? James 5:16 tells us to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another, that we may be healed. If there is anything weighing on your heart, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance and faith. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor God with them. If this pain is a result of neglect, overwork, or unhealthy habits, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and make changes that align with His design for your well-being. Whether it is through rest, nutrition, medical care, or simply drawing closer to Him, we pray that you will find the path to wholeness.
Above all, we pray that your faith would not waver in this trial. The enemy may whisper lies that God has abandoned you or that your pain has no purpose, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. The truth is that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even in this pain, He is shaping you, refining you, and drawing you closer to Himself. Hold fast to His promises, for He is faithful.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Carmen’s faith and for her trust in You. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill her with the hope that comes from knowing You. Strengthen her in body, mind, and spirit, and let her experience Your presence in a tangible way during this time.
We also pray for those who may be walking alongside Carmen in this journey. Give them wisdom, compassion, and patience as they support her. May they be a source of encouragement and a reminder of Your love.
In all things, we surrender this situation to You, Lord, trusting that Your will is perfect and Your timing is best. Whether You choose to heal instantly, gradually, or in ways we cannot yet see, we trust You. We declare that Your name is above every name, and that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We thank You for the victory we have in Him, and we pray all these things in His precious and powerful name. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
