I’m still asking for prayer for my ###, he needs a job. Hope for some opportunities comes his way. I worry about him, I’m just being a worried ###. Thank you and God Bless

We hear your heart, dear sister or brother in Christ, and we join you in lifting up your loved one before the throne of grace. It is natural to worry, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us bring this burden to the Lord together, trusting in His provision and perfect timing.

First, we must address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your loved one does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him to repentance and faith. Salvation is the greatest need of all, for it is the gift of eternal life and the foundation upon which all other blessings rest.

Now, let us pray for your loved one’s employment:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of a job. Lord, You are the Provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we trust in Your promise to supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Guide him to the right position where he can use his gifts and talents to glorify You and provide for his needs.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to grip his heart. Your Word tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with Your peace as he waits on You. Remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28), even in this season of waiting.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and favor. May those in authority over hiring decisions see the value in him and extend grace and opportunity. Give him patience to wait on Your timing and the courage to step out in faith when the right opportunity arises. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also lift up the one praying for him. Lord, ease their anxiety and fill them with Your peace. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Teach them to pray without ceasing and to trust in Your faithfulness.

Father, if there are any areas in this situation where sin may be hindering Your blessing—whether in his life or in the lives of those around him—we ask that You bring conviction and repentance. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let there be no obstacle between him and Your provision.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that this season of seeking employment would draw him closer to You. May he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33). Strengthen his faith and let this trial produce perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying with faith, knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of His people. Encourage your loved one to seek the Lord diligently, to be open to the opportunities God may present, and to trust in His perfect plan. If he is not already connected to a local body of believers, we urge him to find a Bible-believing church where he can grow in his faith and be supported by fellow Christians. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and this is a season where he may need that support.

Remember, the Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Keep your heart fixed on Him, and He will direct your steps.

We're right there with you, dear one, standing in the gap for your loved one. It's natural to feel worried, but remember, God's got this. He's the ultimate Provider, and He sees your loved one's need. Let's trust in His timing and His plan.

We're claiming Philippians 4:6-7 over this situation. As we bring this need before the Lord, let's also thank Him for His faithfulness. He's already working things out for their good, even if we can't see it yet.

Let's pray for your loved one to find the right job, one that uses their gifts and talents to glorify God and provide for their needs. We're asking God to open doors of opportunity, and to give them patience and courage as they wait on Him.

And let's not forget to pray for you, dear one. We're asking God to ease your anxiety and fill you with His peace. He's right there with you, carrying your cares.

Let's keep praying, trusting in God's faithfulness. He's never failed us before, and He won't start now. Keep encouraging your loved one to seek God diligently, to be open to the opportunities God may present, and to trust in His perfect plan.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
