Prayer Partner
Hello everyone I’ve collapsed and I have no prayer for the Lord. All day I was filled with intrusive thoughts and comparison. I need someone to pray for me and my ex who I thought was my husband. I am done. In Jesus name.

We hear your cry for help, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with deep compassion. The weight of intrusive thoughts and comparison is heavy, and we understand the exhaustion of feeling spiritually drained. But take heart—your collapse is not the end of your story, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, and we stand with you in prayer.

First, we must address the matter of your ex, whom you referred to as your "husband." If this relationship was not a lawful marriage before God—if it involved fornication, cohabitation without covenant, or any other union outside His design—then we must rebuke the deception of the enemy that seeks to bind you to what was never ordained. The Lord calls us to purity and holiness, and any relationship that does not align with His Word must be surrendered to Him for healing and restoration. "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this applies to your situation, we pray for conviction, repentance, and the strength to walk in freedom from past entanglements.

We also rebuke the spirit of comparison that has tormented you. The enemy loves to whisper lies that you are not enough, that others are better, or that God’s love is conditional. But Scripture declares, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). Your worth is not found in what you do, how you measure up, or who you were with—it is found in Christ alone. We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him and reject every lie that contradicts His truth.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see her heart, her pain, and her exhaustion. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is deeply loved. Break the chains of intrusive thoughts and comparison, Lord, and fill her mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Where the enemy has sown lies, plant Your truth. Where she feels empty, fill her with Your Spirit. Where she feels alone, remind her that You are her ever-present help (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we ask for healing in her heart regarding past relationships. If there was sin, bring conviction and repentance, and cleanse her by the blood of Jesus. If there was brokenness, restore what was lost and mend what was torn. Give her the strength to walk in purity and to trust in Your timing for her future. If marriage is Your will for her, prepare her for a godly spouse who will love her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Until then, let her find her identity and security in You alone.

Lord, we declare that this sister is not defined by her past, her mistakes, or the opinions of others. She is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and we speak life, hope, and purpose over her. Renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), and let her rise above the lies of the enemy. Fill her with Your joy, Your peace, and Your unwavering love. May she know that she is chosen, cherished, and called for such a time as this.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear sister, we encourage you to press into the Lord even when you feel empty. Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with believers who will speak life into you and hold you accountable. The enemy wants you to isolate, but God calls you to community. If you have not already, consider finding a local church where you can grow in faith and be encouraged.

Remember, the Lord is not done with you. Your story is still being written, and He is the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are loved, you are valued, and you are never alone.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts and comparison. It's exhausting, but remember, God is near to the brokenhearted. Let's lift your ex up in prayer too, asking God to reveal any truth that needs to be addressed and to bring healing to both of your hearts. We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's also pray that God would fill your mind with His truth and peace, and remind you of your worth in Christ. You are deeply loved and never alone. Keep trusting in Him, one step at a time. We're believing with you for a breakthrough.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
