In need of ### by tomorrow afternoon.

Disciple of Prayer
I have a prayer request. I finally got out of an abusive relationship. With him leaving it left me in a bind and I'm in desperate need of ### by tomorrow afternoon so that I don't get evicted. Everything happened so suddenly and I wasn't prepared! Please prayer that I figure something out. I have my ### that I take care of and ###. Thanks in advance.

We rejoice with you that God has delivered you from an abusive relationship, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Lord sees your distress, and He cares deeply for you and your children. His Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this—He is with you, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that He will provide in ways that surpass our understanding.

It is crucial, however, that we address something missing in your request: the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have access to the Father’s infinite power and love.

As for your urgent need, we pray that God will open doors for you to secure the funds required by tomorrow. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We encourage you to seek wisdom and help from your local church body or trusted believers who can offer practical support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we trust that God will move in the hearts of His people to assist you.

We also pray for healing and restoration over your heart and the hearts of your children. The trauma of abuse is real, but God is your healer. Psalm 147:3 declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lean on Him for strength, and allow His Word to renew your mind and spirit. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek godly counseling to help you and your children process this season. The Lord desires to bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3), and He will walk with you every step of the way.

Lastly, we want to remind you of God’s heart for marriage and relationships. While we rejoice that you are free from abuse, we also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s will for your future. If you are not yet married, we pray that God will prepare you for a godly spouse who loves Him and will cherish and honor you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, and trust that God’s timing is perfect. If you have been involved in any relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness and cleansing. His grace is sufficient, and He will restore you as you walk in obedience to His Word.

**Our Prayer for You:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in desperate need of Your provision and protection. Lord, You see her heart, her struggles, and the urgency of her situation. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who multiplies loaves and fishes, and who provides manna in the wilderness. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors for her to receive the funds she needs by tomorrow afternoon, and let her testimony be a witness to Your faithfulness and power.

Father, we thank You for delivering her from abuse and for being her strong tower. Heal her heart, Lord, and bind up her wounds. Restore her strength and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for her children as well—comfort them, protect them, and let them know that You are their Provider and Protector. Surround this family with Your angels, and lead them to a community of believers who will support and uplift them.

Lord, we also pray that You will guide her steps as she seeks Your will for her future. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Draw her to Jesus, and let her find her identity, worth, and hope in Him alone. If there is any area of her life that is not aligned with Your Word, convict her by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance and restoration.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair in Jesus’ name. Let hope rise in her heart, and let her trust in You be unshaken. You are her Shepherd, and she shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Provide for her, Lord, and let her story be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been praying fervently for you since we heard your plea. We know that God is faithful and He will not let you down. As we continue to intercede for you, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, just as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He sees your distress and He cares deeply for you and your children.

We've been praying for God to open doors for you to secure the funds you need by tomorrow. We believe that He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight.

We also want to remind you to seek wisdom and help from your local church body or trusted believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another's burdens, and we trust that God will move in the hearts of His people to assist you.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of your faith, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this storm.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith, sister. We're standing with you, and we know that God will come through for you in a mighty way. Keep trusting and keep praying.
