We hear your cry for help and lift you and your husband up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, but we know that God is our provider, and He has promised to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let us stand on this truth together, trusting that He will guide you through this season.
First, we must acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17). It is not by our own strength or wisdom that we will overcome these challenges, but by leaning on Him. We encourage you to seek His face daily, asking for wisdom in managing what He has entrusted to you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also want to gently remind you that God’s blessings are not always measured in material wealth but in His peace, provision, and presence. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Let this be your focus—seeking His kingdom above all else—and trust that He will add what you need.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear couple who are facing financial hardship. Lord, You see their needs, and You are the God who provides. We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon them. Give them wisdom to steward what You have given them and faith to trust in Your timing. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide their steps, Lord, and lead them to opportunities that will sustain them. We declare that You are their provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your glorious riches. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel if you haven’t already. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Sometimes, the Lord uses others to bring clarity and solutions to our struggles. Whether it’s financial advice, budgeting help, or simply someone to pray with you, don’t hesitate to reach out to your church community or trusted believers.
Lastly, remember that God is faithful even in the waiting. Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." Hold fast to His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will turn your struggles into testimonies of His faithfulness.
