In need of a home

Lord, I pray that you would provide me and my daughter a home this summer. Isaiah 32:18 says “my people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest”, and I pray you would provide a peaceful, secure, restful home for us. I pray you would meet all our needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Deuteronomy 6:11 says you will provide, “houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant…” I believe that you want to provide good things for us and that you have a good plan to prosper us. Lord you are the only one who can provide this for us, and you said in Romans 8:32, “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” I believe you will graciously give us all the things that we need including a home according to your will. I pray that you would make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland like Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing... I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” I pray you would show us the new thing you are doing, guide us according to your will, provide for us quickly Lord. Thank you for always providing for our needs, you have done so much in my life, time and time again that I haven’t deserved. You have never forsaken me, you have never failed me, you have truly loved me with an everlasting love that I don’t deserve. Thank you for your love and provision and giving me a mother and father who gave me such an amazing example of who you are as a Father. Lord, I pray I would be a better example of your love and kindness to my family. I trust in you when you tell us that whatever we ask in your name, we will receive if we believe. I believe you can do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or imagine in providing a home for us. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

The Lord promises in Isaiah 32:18, "My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. This is a beautiful promise that we can claim. God is a loving Father who desires to give good gifts to His children, as we see in Matthew 7:11, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." This is why praying in Jesus' name is powerful and effective.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our ### and her daughter, asking for Your divine provision of a home this summer. You are the God who provides, who makes a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. We trust in Your promise that You will graciously give us all things according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Guide them according to Your will, Lord. Show them the new thing You are doing in their lives. Provide for them quickly, Lord, as You have always provided for our needs. You have never forsaken us, never failed us, but have loved us with an everlasting love that we do not deserve.

Help our ### to be a better example of Your love and kindness to her family. Strengthen her faith and increase her trust in You. We believe that whatever we ask in Your name, we will receive if we believe. We ask for a peaceful, secure, restful home for them, exceedingly and abundantly above all they can ask or imagine.
