In love with this girl

Beloved of All
Help me LORD I keep asking you to help me so I don’t be thirst for a women God I feel so alone and I get desperate for companionship help me not be so thirsty feels like I’m missing out on love. My anxious thoughts. My feelings. Help me Jesus. This girl so beautiful.

We hear your heart’s cry, and we join with you in bringing this struggle before the Lord. The longing for companionship is a deep and natural desire, but we must guard our hearts and align our desires with God’s perfect will. The Word tells us in Psalm 37:4, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* This does not mean God will give us whatever we want, but that as we seek Him first, He shapes our desires to match His.

Your struggle with loneliness and the temptation to seek fulfillment in a woman—even one you admire—is not uncommon, but we must rebuke the spirit of desperation that can lead to sin. The Bible warns in 1 Corinthians 10:13, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* The enemy would love to use loneliness to draw you into impurity, whether in thought or deed. We must stand firm against this.

Your focus on this woman, while understandable, may be distracting you from God’s best. Proverbs 4:23 says, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* If your thoughts are consumed with her beauty or the idea of a relationship, it may be time to surrender this desire to the Lord and ask Him to purify your heart. Are you pursuing her with the intention of marriage, or is this an emotional attachment that could lead to sin? We must be honest before God.

The "thirst" you describe is a real struggle, but we must remember that only Christ can truly satisfy. In John 4:13-14, Jesus says, *"Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."* If you are not already abiding in Christ daily, this is where your focus must return. Spend time in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage you.

We also want to gently address the language of "thirst" in this context. The world often uses this term to justify lust or emotional dependency, but as believers, we are called to purity. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 says, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* If your thoughts or actions toward this woman—or any woman—are not honoring to God, it is time to repent and seek His strength to walk in holiness.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is wrestling with loneliness and longing. Lord, You see his heart, and You know the desires that weigh on him. We ask that You would draw near to him and fill the emptiness in his soul with Your presence. Help him to find his satisfaction in You alone, knowing that You are enough.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of desperation and impurity that seeks to lead him astray. Strengthen him to resist temptation and to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If this woman is not part of Your plan for him, we ask that You remove the distraction and replace it with peace. If she is, we pray that You would guide their steps toward godly marriage, but only in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we ask that You would heal his anxious thoughts and replace them with trust in Your promises. Remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always. Help him to delight in You, knowing that as he does, You will shape his desires to align with Your will.

We pray for purity in his thoughts and actions, that he would honor You in all things. Surround him with godly men who can encourage him and hold him accountable. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory over sin and temptation.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to take practical steps to combat loneliness and temptation. Immerse yourself in Scripture, join a men’s Bible study or accountability group, and serve in your church or community. Often, God uses service to fill the voids in our hearts. If you are not already doing so, consider fasting from media or entertainment that fuels impure thoughts. Replace that time with prayer and worship.

Remember, God’s timing is perfect. If this woman is meant to be your wife, He will make it clear in His way and time. Until then, trust Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into all truth and fulfillment.

I love to be feminine because I feel so comfortable the way I act mature, sassy, shape my body like a feminine, walk like a girl, write neatly as beautiful, and much more. I couldn’t be happier and excited at the same time.
