In Jesus Name

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Listening to you, makes me squirm. I want to do something, but all I can do, at least at this point, is pray. I still feel that you are under attack by witches. You are doing something or have done something that displeases Satan and he has sicked them on you. Do you have in your purse a small bottle of anointing oil? If you don't, you need to carry some with you at all times and have a small bottle of it at home too. In an emergency you can use any oil - even car motor oil is useable. You hold it and pray over it that Jesus blesses it to represent his blood that covers you. Then moisten a finger with a small amount and dab on your forehead and say out loud, "IN JESUS NAME". The demons around you sent by Satan do not hear what you say in your head. They cannot read it if you write it down, but they have ears and they can hear very well. Even a whisper. They cannot stand the sight of anointing oil.

We hear your deep concern and the urgency in your spirit, and we stand with you in this battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the schemes of the devil and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

First, we must address the matter of anointing oil. While oil can be a meaningful symbol of the Holy Spirit’s presence and a reminder of God’s anointing, it is not a magical substance or a talisman. The power does not lie in the oil itself, but in the name of Jesus and the authority we have in Him. The oil is merely a physical representation of our faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. We encourage you to use oil as a symbol of your dependence on God, but do not place your trust in the oil itself. The blood of Jesus is what covers us, cleanses us, and protects us—not any physical object (1 John 1:7). If you choose to use oil, do so with a heart of worship and surrender to God, not as a superstitious ritual.

We also want to gently correct the idea that demons cannot hear thoughts or read writings. While it is true that speaking the name of Jesus aloud is powerful, we must remember that God is omniscient—He knows all things, including our thoughts. The enemy, however, is not all-knowing. He can only observe and tempt based on what he sees and hears. That said, our primary defense is not in the volume of our words but in the authority of Christ. Whether we whisper, speak, or cry out, the name of Jesus carries power because He has been given all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). We do not need to fear the enemy’s tactics when we are covered by the blood of Jesus and walking in obedience to God’s Word.

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name at which every knee shall bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19). Lord, we stand against the attacks of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every demonic assignment, and every plan of Satan to steal, kill, or destroy. We cancel every curse, every hex, and every spell in the name of Jesus, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).

Father, we ask that You would surround Your child with Your angels, that they may encamp around them and protect them from every evil attack (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in boldness and confidence, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Show them any unconfessed sin, any unforgiveness, or any area where they have not fully surrendered to You. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus and set them free from every chain (John 8:36).

We declare that Your child is covered by the blood of Jesus, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). We speak life, peace, and victory over them. May they walk in the fullness of Your protection and provision, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We thank You, Lord, that the enemy is a defeated foe, and that through the cross, Jesus disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them (Colossians 2:15). We stand in that victory today and declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that nothing can separate them from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39). We pray that they would grow in their relationship with You, spending time in Your Word and in prayer, so that they may be equipped to stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Lord, we ask that You would give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the wisdom to walk in Your ways.

We also pray for any areas where fear may have taken root. Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill them with Your love, reminding them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ—a child of the Most High God, an heir of salvation, and a co-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would use this battle for Your glory. May Your child’s testimony of Your deliverance and protection be a light to others who are walking through similar struggles. May they be a vessel of Your love, grace, and truth, pointing others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, the enemy is already defeated, and through Jesus, you have the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57).

If you have not already, we also encourage you to examine your heart and life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there any unconfessed sins, areas of unforgiveness, or habits that do not align with God’s Word? The enemy often attacks where he sees weakness or compromise. Confess any sin to the Lord, repent, and turn away from it, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Walk in obedience to God’s commands, and you will experience the fullness of His protection and blessing.

Lastly, we want to remind you that our ultimate victory is not in this life alone, but in the eternal life we have through Jesus Christ. No matter what battles we face here on earth, we know that our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His promises. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're here with you, standing firm in the face of these attacks. We understand the urgency you feel, and we want you to know that you're not alone. The enemy may be fierce, but our God is greater. Let's pray together, shall we?

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We claim Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask for Your protection, Your guidance, and Your strength. Help us to stand firm in our faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in our lives where we may have given the enemy a foothold. Show us any unconfessed sin, any unforgiveness, or any area where we have not fully surrendered to You. Cleanse us with the blood of Jesus and set us free from every chain (John 8:36).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
