We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. We stand with you, believing in God’s healing power and transformative work in every area of your life.

First, we address your request for healing, both physically and spiritually. Bad breath can often be a sign of underlying physical issues, so we encourage you to seek medical attention if this persists, as the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). But we also recognize that healing is not just physical; it is holistic. We pray that the Lord would restore your body, mind, and spirit, bringing wholeness in every way. The Word tells us, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our brother/sister. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would heal every part of their body, including any physical causes of bad breath, and restore them to full health. We also pray for the renewal of their mind, that negative thoughts would be replaced with the truth of Your Word. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and negativity in Jesus’ name, and we declare that their mind is being transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2). Fill them with Your peace, joy, and godly thoughts that align with Your will. Strengthen their emotions, Lord, and let Your love be the foundation of their heart. We surrender their plans to You, trusting that Your plans are higher and better than ours (Jeremiah 29:11). Give them wisdom, strength, and spiritual vitality to serve You with gladness.

We also lift up your desire to serve the children God has placed in your care. What a beautiful calling it is to pour into the next generation! We pray that the Lord would equip you with everything you need, spiritually, emotionally, and practically, to be a blessing to them. "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the heart of service You have placed in our brother/sister. We ask that You would bless them abundantly so they may bless the children under their care. Provide them with wisdom, patience, and creativity to guide these young ones in Your ways. Give them godly strength and joy as they serve, and let Your presence go before them in every situation. We declare that they lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10) and that You are their source for all they need. Protect them from burnout, discouragement, or distraction, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so they may overflow with Your love and truth.

Now, we must address the matter of stewardship and discernment in your request regarding possessions or relationships that no longer serve God’s purpose. The Bible is clear that we are to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us, whether it be material possessions, time, or relationships. Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other" (Matthew 6:24). If there are things in your life, whether material items, habits, or even relationships, that are not aligned with God’s will or are hindering your walk with Him, it is wise to release them. However, we must do so with prayerful discernment, seeking the Lord’s guidance rather than acting out of impulse or emotion. Let us pray:

Father God, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister as they evaluate what to keep and what to release in their life. Show them clearly, Lord, what no longer serves Your purpose and what needs to be removed or redirected. Give them the courage to let go of anything that is not of You, whether it be possessions, habits, or relationships that are not aligned with Your Word. We pray that You would bring the right people into their life, those who will encourage them in their faith and walk with You. Help them to be a good steward of all You have given them, using everything for Your glory. We rebuke any spirit of hoarding, attachment to worldly things, or fear of lack, and we declare that You are their provider. As they release what is not of You, we pray that You would fill that space with Your presence, peace, and purpose.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. The Bible tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Your desire to align your thoughts, words, and life with God’s Word is a beautiful thing, and we believe the Lord is pleased with your heart. Continue to meditate on Scripture, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage and sharpen you (Proverbs 27:17). Remember, transformation is a process, and the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We stand with you in agreement, believing that God is at work in your life in powerful ways. May you experience His healing, His provision, and His peace as you continue to seek Him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear your heart in this prayer, so many needs all at once, and a genuine longing to be aligned with God’s purposes. It’s a lot to carry on your own, but you are not alone.

Let’s start with something you named first: the bad breath. While we pray for complete healing, it’s wise to also pursue practical care. A trip to your doctor or dentist can help identify any underlying issues, and that’s not a lack of faith, it’s good stewardship of your body. We’re praying for wisdom and answers there.

With the negative thoughts and emotions, we know how exhausting that battle can be. Feelings often shout louder than truth, but they are not the final word. One simple, steady step you can take today is this: when a negative thought surfaces, pause and name it honestly before Jesus. Then deliberately invite Him to replace it with what He says is true about you, His love, your purpose, the strength He supplies. This isn’t about pretending the struggle isn’t real; it’s about learning to anchor your mind in something solid in the middle of the storm.

The many other burdens you listed, spiritual strength, provision, protection, wisdom for serving those kids, reflect a heart that genuinely wants to honor God. Surrender to His plan can feel overwhelming when circumstances press in, but it’s often a series of small, daily choices rather than one dramatic leap. Maybe this week you identify one concrete thing: a possession to give away or a habit to release, as you mentioned. Taking that small step can build spiritual momentum.

We’re praying with you now:

Father, thank You for seeing every need here. Please bring physical healing and guide toward any medical help that’s needed. Quiet the storm of anxious thoughts and steady this heart with Your peace that goes beyond understanding. Provide for every genuine need and fill each day with fresh strength and joy for serving those children. We trust this person into Your hands, in Jesus’ name.

These prayerful groanings of your heart have ascended to the throne, and they find their answer in the very nature of our God, whose thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways His ways. You ask for healing of negative thought and emotion, and you do well to bring these inward sicknesses to the great Physician. But know this: your own thoughts, left to themselves, will ever run downward into the mire of despondency and sin. It is only when you lay hold upon God’s thoughts by faith that you shall be lifted up. How precious are His thoughts unto us who are in Christ! They are constant, kind, tender, and perfect, thoughts of peace and not of evil. When the fever of fretful thinking rises, and the bitter breath of the old man would defile all, pray not merely for the removal of the negative, but for the flooding of your soul with His Word. For His thoughts are high; they beget hope, and hope brings confidence, and confidence ushers in full assurance of forgiveness and healing.

You cry for the root of these things to be cut off, and well you may, for the leaves of the tree which is Christ are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Him is full of healing virtue. Yet observe: the Lord Jesus often links healing with teaching. As He taught, the power of the Lord was present to heal. Therefore, bring your mind under the teaching of His Word, hear it heedfully, and shut out the distracting thoughts of the world. When you hear the Gospel, labor to store it up, that it may displace the vain imaginings that defile your spirit. The Savior perceives your thoughts, even as He read the hearts of the Pharisees; and He speaks a single sentence of pardon that brings healing with it, “Your sins are forgiven you.” This is the blessed order: first forgiveness, then healing. The removal of guilt outruns the removal of the sickness, so that the soul, made right with God, may joyfully refuse to say, “I am sick.” Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

Concerning your desire to surrender your plans to His, and to serve those children with godly strength and wisdom, remember that the desire to minister always arises out of healing. The feverish, self-willed spirit cannot serve the Lord acceptably; but when His healing hand touches yours, you are lifted up, and the grateful heart immediately ministers. There is a godly fear, a filial submission, that leads to a quiet confidence, even when we must surrender what we greatly prize. This is not the cringing fear of a slave, but the sweet yielding of a child. Your plans, once surrendered, will be exchanged for His, and you shall go forth with joy, lacking nothing, for He will bless you with all you need to serve those little ones. And as for the temporal gifts you spoke of, let them go without a backward glance. If they no longer serve God, they are encumbrances; give them to those who have need, and keep only that which may lead men’s thoughts aright, never insulting your God by that which suggests evil. The Lord Himself will be your provision and your exceedingly great reward.

Let this be your posture: awake each morning with the consciousness, “I am still with You.” Fix your mind upon His precious thoughts until they become your meditation all the day. Then shall the bad breath of corrupt speech be purified, and the fountain of your words shall run sweet and clean. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Only bring your brokenness to Him, and linger not in desponding silence. Cry to the Beloved Physician, and you shall soon prove His power to save to the uttermost. The healing leaves are abundant; take them freely. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for healing of body and mind, for the uprooting of negative thoughts and emotions. This is good, for our God desires not only outward health but a renewed heart. Yet do not think that by your prayers you render some great service to Him. The Apostle speaks of a "lack of service" fulfilled by another, showing that all we do is but a small part, and God supplies what is lacking through Christ. So be humble in your asking; do not be puffed up as though your words obligate heaven. Instead, receive healing as a gift, and let it spur you to serve with a lowly spirit.

You ask that negative words be cut off and replaced with godly speech. This requires not one prayer but a continual listening to the word of God. Do not be discouraged if you have prayed many times and seen little change. A tree struck ten times may not fall, yet a final blow brings it down. The first blows were not wasted. So keep hearing, keep repenting, keep supplicating. The fruit will come, perhaps when you least expect it. God's word, planted in your heart, will one day spring up and bear abundant life.

You desire to serve those children with godly strength and wisdom, surrendering your plans to His. Then serve with good will, not as one who seeks to please people, but with fear and trembling toward God. Remember that even a master is a servant of Christ. He will supply every need, if your service is done sincerely for Him, not for human approval. Fear not that you lack anything, for He who sees your heart will provide. But do not cling to what no longer serves His purposes; let those things go, and trust that He will give to the right hands. This is true alignment: to serve with joy, humility, and reverence, knowing that all we offer is only filling up what is lacking in our own strength, made full by His grace.

Your prayer touches on several deep desires, and I want to walk through them with you in light of what Scripture teaches.

When you mention your breath, remember that the very air in your lungs is a gift held in God's hand. Every breath you take is sustained by Him, whether you think about it or not. He knows the physical struggles, the things that embarrass you, the ways your body feels out of control. That reality cuts two ways: it humbles us, but it also invites us to trust Him with these details. Jesus bore our infirmities, and His healing power extends to body and soul. So it is right to ask Him to touch even something like bad breath, while also resting in His wisdom about what He allows for a season.

Negative thoughts and emotions are not hidden from Him. Jesus knows the thoughts of every heart. He could ask any of us, “Why do you think evil in your heart?” Yet He does not ask to condemn, but to draw us into repentance and transformation. Praying to rebuke and cut those negative roots is exactly the right instinct. The tongue and the mind need to be retrained. Sound speech that cannot be condemned doesn’t just happen; it comes as God replaces the old murmuring, the resentful under-the-breath words, with His own truth. Instead of mumbling in frustration, we learn to speak what is honorable and pure. Let His words dwell in you richly, and they will crowd out the empty and destructive ones.

Surrendering your plan for His plan is the path to living soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. God’s grace doesn’t shrug at sin; it coaches us to turn away from it. When you hand Him your agenda, He gives you a joyful heart and the strength to serve. Serving those kids is a beautiful calling, and He will supply all you need, wisdom, alignment, protection. That kind of service isn’t fueled by our own energy but by the hope of eternal life. You lay down temporary pleasures and self-pity to take up the cross and pour out for others, and that’s a meaningful, life-giving choice.

The sorrow you feel over negative patterns can be either destructive or saving. Worldly sorrow just wallows in regret and leads to death. Godly sorrow wakes you up, stirs a carefulness in you, a clearing of yourself, a holy indignation against the sin, a fear of staying the same, a vehement desire to be different. That’s the work of repentance, and it’s not to be regretted. You are not defined by a negative confession or a downward spiral. Your Father doesn’t stand ready to smack you when you stumble, nor does He carry out every fearful word you speak. He is the God in whose hand your breath is, and He invites you to use that breath for blessing.

As for the things you donated that no longer serve Him, it is wise to let them go. If they were once set apart but now only tie you to a season that has passed, release them to the right hands. The Lord can repurpose what no longer helps you and use it for His glory elsewhere.

Keep bringing these requests to Him, but also rest in the truth that He already knows and He already cares. Your breath, your thoughts, your plans, and your service, He holds them all.
