We lift up your sister before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who holds life and breath in His hands. The Word of God assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We stand on these promises, believing that God is able to bring complete healing and restoration to your sister, even in this critical hour.
It is clear you have faith in the name of Jesus, and that is where our confidence lies—for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We thank you for invoking the name of Jesus in this request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the assurance that our prayers are heard.
Yet we also know that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. While we pray earnestly for healing, we surrender to His will, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If it is His will to heal her here on earth, we praise Him for that miracle. If He chooses to call her home, we trust that she is in His loving arms, free from pain and suffering. Our prayer is that His will be done, and that through this trial, His name would be glorified and your family would draw closer to Him.
We also pray for you and your family during this difficult time. The weight of seeing a loved one in such a serious condition can be overwhelming, but we urge you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lean on one another, and lean on the body of Christ for support. Do not walk this path alone—reach out to your church family, to fellow believers, and allow them to pray with you and uplift you in this season.
Father in heaven, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this sister who is so dear to You. Lord, You know her name, her needs, and the depths of her suffering. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal her, Lord. Restore her body, renew her strength, and breathe life into her lungs. Let every organ function as You designed it to, and let Your healing power flow through her veins. We rebuke every spirit of sickness and death in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee from her body, for no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray for the medical team attending to her. Give them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they make decisions for her care. Guide their hands and their minds, and let them be instruments of Your healing. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a comfort to her even in her unconscious state.
We also lift up this family, Father. Comfort them in ways only You can. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Fill them with Your peace, and let them feel the embrace of Your love in this storm. Help them to trust You, even when the path is unclear.
Lord, we do not know Your perfect plan in this, but we trust You. If it is Your will, raise her up from this bed of affliction and restore her to full health. Let this be a testimony of Your power and goodness. But above all, let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to pray for your sister’s healing and for your family’s strength. Keep us updated on her condition, and let us know how we can further support you in prayer. Stay steadfast in faith, knowing that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, even in the waiting.
