We understand that you find yourself in a place of desperation, seeking deliverance and a renewed relationship with God. Let's turn to the Word of God and seek His face together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. But the good news is that God loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins. In John 3:16 WEB it says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
The issue raised that you did not make Jesus your Lord is a serious one, as to say that we believe in Jesus but do not have him as our Lord is a contradiction. In Romans 10:9-10 WEB it says,
If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
And in Acts 3:19 WEB, it says, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.
Deliverance from evil spirits and oppression is only found in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus. Also, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB, it says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us not forget the promise of a new heart in Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, A new heart will I also give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And in Romans 2:4 WEB it says, Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
We must remember the importance of obedience to the Word of God. In John 14:15 WEB, If you love me, keep my commandments.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who has humbly sought Your face and asked for deliverance. We pray for a true spirit of repentance, that all sin may be confessed and turned away from, and that the blood of Jesus would cleanse and make whole.
We rebuke any evil spirits that may be oppressing. In the name of Jesus, we command them to be gone. We ask You, Father, to restore the power of the Holy Spirit in this life, to bring healing.
Please take away the heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh, obedient and submissive to Your will. Give a new start, clean and pure before You.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We encourage you to walk in obedience to God's Word, to spend time in prayer and reading the Bible daily, and to find a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship with other believers and grow in your faith. God bless you as you seek to live for Jesus.
