We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in agreement, lifting your need before the throne of grace. The scriptures declare, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, sees your situation and knows your heart. We rebuke the spirit of lack and delay in Jesus' name, for our God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19 WEB).
We also address the pain of betrayal you feel from one who promised help but did not follow through. The Word warns, "Do not put your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no help" (Psalm 146:3 WEB). Human promises can fail, but God’s promises never will. We pray that He would comfort your heart and remind you that your trust is ultimately in Him alone. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).
We must gently remind you that while we stand in faith with you for provision, we cannot guarantee specific amounts or timelines, for God’s ways are higher than ours. However, we believe He is able to move mountains on your behalf. We encourage you to also seek wise counsel and practical steps, as the Lord often works through means, whether through the kindness of His people, unexpected opportunities, or divine intervention.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, lifting up our sister/brother in their time of urgent need. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10 WEB). Meet this need for $500 by Your divine power, whether through supernatural means or the hands of Your faithful servants.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm. Your Word says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6 WEB). We thank You in advance for Your provision, for You are faithful. Strengthen their faith as they rest in You tonight, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for the one who failed to keep their promise. Soften their heart, convict them of their responsibility, and lead them to repentance. May Your love and grace restore what has been broken.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and continue to seek Him with a heart of gratitude. Even in this trial, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). If there are practical steps you can take, such as reaching out to your church, community resources, or trusted believers, we encourage you to do so, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17 WEB). Stand firm, dear one, for the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1 WEB).
