In Dire Need Of Understanding And Forgiveness

My boyfriend and I had a major falling out two weeks ago. He broke up with me after he learned that I had lied to him about remaining in contact with someone he is enemies with (one of my best friends).

We will be talking for the first time together this Friday evening, since everything happened.

He is an atheist and our views on forgiveness are radically different.

Please pray that our conversation this Friday goes well.

Please pray that he can find the compassion and the understanding in his heart to forgive me so that we can overcome this together as a couple and grow stronger from this.

Please pray that I am able to find the words that need to be said, and that I may remain strong regardless of the outcome.

And please pray for him, that he may know God's love, and that he may understand that to truly love means to forgive others who have fallen.

I've known in my heart since the day I met him that we were meant to be together. I've never doubted this once. But since all of this has happened, I've begun doubting myself, and doubting my gut feelings.

I've been through many difficult times in my life, but these last two weeks have been the hardest emotionally.

Please keep our relationship in your thoughts and prayers. We really need it right now.
