In Desperate Need Of Prayer. Desperate, Depressed & Suicidal Thoughts.

I am in desperate need of prayer. For the past year, I have been out of work. I have mostly been living off my unemployed benefits. I have not been able to find work because every time the prospective job I am interviewing for runs a background check, they deny me employment due to a petty theft charge that is on my record from back in 97 when I was living in ###. During the time I have been out of work, I was able to pursue a life-long dream of mine and have 3 poetry books published under my pen name. Since my work has been released, I have yet to be compensated and not able to afford legal representation to pursue taking any action but I would prefer not to go that route unless absolutely necessary. The department of Job and family services sent me a letter two weeks ago after approving me for an additional extension, they are now no longer going to continue my benefits which was the only way I could pay my bills including my car note which I almost have paid off. To make matters worse, I get two letters from the IRS stating that I owe them money which I cannot afford to pay right now. I am buried in a mountain of debt and don't know what to do anymore. It seems like every time I take a step forward, I find myself taking two steps back not able to come up with any solutions to these problems. I have been receiving confirmation on many occasions that seeing I am a writer, I should take a leap of faith and move to ### but with the cost of living, I have to absolutely be certain that is where God wants me to be. I feel like the walls are closing in and I have contemplated committing suicide, all of my life, I have had to fight some tough battles and my will is weak right now, I cannot sleep at night and have become addicted to ###, ###, and ###. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a bi-polar/anxiety condition which has affected my learning over the years. When learning something new, in some cases, I catch on pretty fast but in other cases, some task take me a little longer to catch on to. I am very embarrassed about my situation and don't know whom or where else to turn to. I feel like I am standing at the ledge and ready to jump. Please pray for me.

Oh I'm so sorry you feel so helpless. I have felt that way lately. But I know the Lord is watching over us and sees the struggle going on in your life. Financial hardship is no joke, but keep your faith, it will turn around for you! How proud you must be to have been given the gift of poetry. I pray that your books do well or you find a good job in the meantime. Hang in there, tomorrow is a brand new beautiful day, a gift from God.

Praying for you. Will also ask my mother's prayer group to pray for you too. God allows us to be broken so we will allow Him to fix us. Never stop asking Him to help you; I don't make promises I can't keep, but I literally PROMISE you that He will not let you down. I have seen living proof of this many times.

I thank You Father that You do have a plan for his life, and that You will show him clearly the way You want him to go in the days ahead! Thank You for coming with an amazing solution on his problems, and make him able to pay back all the depts. Thank You for healing, restoring and renewing him in every way, and make him even stronger in Your Holy Word, and in The Holy Spirit, so that he can have the strength to endure all kinds of hardships that he will meet during his way to Heaven....in Jesus Name, Amen!
