(Acts 4:12 WEB)** To suggest that there are many paths to God is to deny the exclusivity of Christ’s sacrifice and the authority of Scripture. This is not a matter of opinion but of eternal consequence.
The apostle Paul warned us: **"For if he who comes preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or if you receive a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different ‘good news’, which you didn’t accept, you put up with that well enough." (2 Corinthians 11:4 WEB)** When leaders in the church embrace false teachings—whether universalism, interfaith compromise, or political bias against God’s chosen people—we must not remain silent. The Bible commands us to **"contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." You are right to be troubled when fellow Christians respond with accusations of "judging" when you speak the truth. But Jesus Himself said, **"Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7:24 WEB)** We are not to judge hypocritically or with a critical spirit, but we *are* called to test teachings against Scripture and to expose error. Paul rebuked Peter publicly when he compromised the truth (Galatians 2:11-14), and we must do the same when leaders lead people astray. **"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Father, we rebuke the lies of universalism and interfaith deception in the name of Jesus. We declare that there is no other name by which men must be saved, and we stand against any teaching that diminishes the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice. Raise up faithful shepherds who will lead Your flock according to Your Word, and expose the motives of those who seek to lead others astray.
We pray for the leaders who have strayed—give them repentance and a return to the truth. May they come to know the gravity of their words and the impact they have on the souls of those who follow them. Lord, we ask that You would bring revival to Your church, that we would be a people unashamed of the gospel and unwavering in our commitment to Your truth.
