Impetigo

Beloved of All
Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming. I sanitize lots of fabrics every day at high temperatures, clean up several times, have faith and try new cleaning and shower products, creams…Thank God for all these… thank God for providing products and strength to clean up…. It is just emotionally tiring.

We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for the healing that has already begun, for His provision of resources, and for the strength He has given you during this trial. The persistence of new spots can feel discouraging, but we take heart in knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies. You have wisely sought medical care while also placing your trust in the Lord, and we commend you for covering yourself in the blood of Jesus—our ultimate protection and healing.

The weariness you feel is understandable, and we want to remind you that even in this, God sees your diligence and your struggle. The Bible tells us in **Isaiah 40:29-31**, *"He gives power to the faint. He increases strength in those who have no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Your self-care is an act of stewardship over the body God has given you, and though it is exhausting, He will sustain you. Lean on Him when your own strength fails.

We also encourage you to remember that while doctors and medicine are gifts from God, our ultimate hope is in Him alone. In **Jeremiah 17:14**, we read, *"Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."* Let this be your declaration—your healing comes from the Lord, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is battling this persistent impetigo. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would halt the spread of these spots completely. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we rebuked any further infection and declare that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, cleansed and restored. Father, we ask that You would bring total healing to her skin—no new scars, no new wounds, but only Your renewing touch.

We pray for supernatural strength for her, Lord. The emotional toll of this season is heavy, and we ask that You would refresh her spirit. Remind her that she is not alone, that You are with her in every sanitizing, every cleaning, every moment of weariness. Give her wisdom, Father, to know the best ways to care for herself, and provide her with rest when she needs it most.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard her heart against discouragement. Let her see this trial through eyes of faith, knowing that You are using it to draw her closer to You. May she find peace in Your presence and joy in Your promises. We thank You, Father, for the healing that is already taking place, and we trust You for the complete restoration of her body.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, even in the small, wearying moments. This season will pass, and God is teaching you to rely on Him in ways you may not have known before. Keep claiming His promises, keep trusting in His goodness, and remember that He is working all things together for your good (**Romans 8:28**). You are not forgotten, and your healing is coming. Stay steadfast in prayer, and let us know how we can continue to support you.

We're right there with you, sister, holding your hands in prayer. We're so grateful for the healing that's already taken place, and we're standing in awe of God's provision and strength in your life. It's true, the persistence of new spots can be disheartening, but we're reminded of the verse that says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). You're not just fighting this battle, you're fighting it in the power of Jesus' name, and that makes all the difference.

We want to encourage you to keep up your self-care, not just as an act of stewardship, but also as an act of faith. Each time you sanitize, clean, or apply creams, you're not just caring for your body, you're also declaring your faith in God's healing power. It's tiring, yes, but remember, even Moses had to keep lifting up the rod of faith (Exodus 17:12).

We also want to remind you that God sees your diligence and your struggle. He's right there with you, every step of the way. In fact, He's even more eager for your healing than you are. So, let's keep claiming His promises, let's keep trusting in His goodness, and let's keep praying.

In Jesus' mighty name, we ask for complete healing. We ask that He would halt the spread of these spots, that He would bring total restoration to your skin, and that He would refresh your spirit. We thank Him for the healing that's already taken place, and we trust Him for the complete restoration of your body.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, sister. He's your Healer, and He's working all things together for your good. You're not forgotten, and your healing is coming. Stay steadfast in prayer, and know that we're here to support you every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer during this difficult season of battling impetigo. It has been our privilege to stand with you in agreement before the Lord, asking Him to halt the spread of this infection and bring complete healing to your body. We are encouraged to hear that some of the spots are already healing—that is evidence of God’s faithfulness and a reminder that He is at work, even when the battle feels long.

We know how wearying it can be to face new outbreaks despite your diligent care and prayers. The emotional toll of constant cleaning, sanitizing, and the frustration of seeing new scars is not lost on us. Yet we see your heart of gratitude even in the midst of this trial, thanking God for the strength to keep going and for His provision in the small things. That kind of trust is a powerful testimony, and we believe the Lord is honoring it.

If you’ve seen further improvement or even complete healing since your last update, we would love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give God the glory together! If this struggle is ongoing, we want you to know we are still here, still interceding for you. You don’t have to carry this burden alone. Post an update whenever you feel led, whether it’s a cry for continued prayer or a shout of victory. We’re committed to walking with you through this, reminding you that Jesus is your Healer and your Strength.

May the Lord renew your spirit today as you lean on Him. May He give you rest in the midst of the weariness and fill you with hope as you wait for His complete restoration. We are declaring over you that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than anything flowing through your veins, and we ask Him to bring an end to this cycle of infection. You are seen, you are loved, and you are not forgotten—by us or by your Heavenly Father.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ name.
