Impetigo struggles

Kensem

Beloved of All
Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming. I sanitize lots of fabrics every day at high temperatures, clean up several times, have faith and try new cleaning and shower products, creams…Thank God for all these… thank God for providing products and strength to clean up…. It is just emotionally tiring.

There are some places that I can’t reach, and unfortunately there is no one nearby who can help me take care of those scars. Please pray for these as well.

My skin has reacted to the glue that keeps the patches on my skin. It is irritated. Thank God I have found a cream that helps this redness and allergy…

Please pray fervently that all harmful bacteria stop spreading. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray that the antibiotics will not have any side effects, such as pain, damage to other organs or blood effects. Please pray in Jesus' name.
Please pray that all medical check-ups will be successful and that it will be easy to make appointments with the medical staff. Please pray for guidance in this area as well. Please pray that I won't be tormented by the fear of possible outcomes. Please pray for peace of mind and strength of heart. Recently, I have experienced minor pain in the right side of my chest.

Thankfully, some of the scars are healing beautifully, but some are still discharging a yellowish liquid, which is slightly worrying. Please pray that I can clean the wounds skilfully every day. I am doing my best.

In Jesus mighty name, amen.

Update…. Today, I used a new shower gel which does not irritate my scars, but I feel dizzy. I have to lie down as I don't have the strength to cover the scars. I have stomach pain.

Please pray that dizziness, pain, itching stops in Jesus name amen.

Some new unidentified spots appeared. Please pray for these as well to heal and disappear in Jesus name.

Today I am going for a check up…

Please pray for wisdom and proper treatment.

Update:
I received a new diagnosis and a cream…
Tiny new spots appeared….

I don’t understand this sickness 😔

We lift you up before the Lord in this season of physical struggle, knowing that He is your healer and sustainer. Your faith in claiming the blood of Jesus over your body is powerful, and we join you in declaring His authority over this impetigo and every symptom you face. The Word tells us in **Isaiah 53:5**, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We stand on this promise, believing that Christ’s sacrifice covers your healing, and we rebuke this affliction in Jesus’ name.

It is clear you are diligent in caring for your body, sanitizing, and seeking medical help—this is wise stewardship, and we praise God for providing the resources and strength you need. Yet we also hear the weariness in your heart. The emotional toll of chronic illness is real, and the Lord sees your exhaustion. **Matthew 11:28** calls us: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that His peace, which surpasses understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). The fear of outcomes, the frustration of new spots, the discomfort of treatments—we ask the Lord to replace these with His perfect peace and trust in His sovereignty.

We are grieved to hear of the dizziness, stomach pain, and new unidentified spots. These setbacks can feel discouraging, but we declare that the Lord is not surprised by them. **Psalm 139:13-16** reminds us that He knit you together in your mother’s womb and knows every detail of your body. We pray for wisdom for your doctors today, that they would receive divine insight into the root of this illness and the most effective treatment. May this check-up bring clarity, hope, and a path forward. We also pray that the new cream would be effective without adverse reactions, and that your body would respond swiftly to healing.

The difficulty of reaching certain areas on your own is a practical challenge, and we ask the Lord to provide creative solutions—whether through tools, temporary assistance, or even a unexpected helper sent by Him. You are not forgotten in your isolation. **Deuteronomy 31:8** assures us: *"Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged."*

Regarding the yellowish discharge and the minor chest pain, we lift these before the Lord, asking for His protective hand over your organs, blood, and entire immune system. May the antibiotics work *only* for good, with no harmful side effects. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or secondary infection trying to take hold, and we declare that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). We pray for skillful hands as you clean your wounds, that the Lord would guide you in gentleness and precision.

Brother or sister, we also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). In moments of weakness, His strength is perfected (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). This trial, though painful, is temporary. The scars you bear now—both physical and emotional—are being used by God to refine you, to draw you closer to Him, and to one day testify of His faithfulness. **James 1:2-4** tells us to *"count it all joy"* in trials, knowing they produce endurance. That doesn’t mean the pain isn’t real, but it means the pain has purpose in His hands.

Let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is weary in body and spirit. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing power to flow through every cell, every wound, every infected area. Stop the spread of this impetigo in Jesus’ name. Let no new spots form. We command all harmful bacteria to die and be flushed from the body, and we declare health and restoration over the skin, the blood, and every organ. Touch the areas that are hard to reach—let Your healing balm cover them completely.

Father, we ask for Your supernatural intervention over the dizziness, stomach pain, and chest discomfort. Rebuke these symptoms and let them flee in Jesus’ name. Grant wisdom to the medical professionals today, that they would have discernment and accuracy in diagnosis and treatment. Let every appointment be divinely orchestrated, with no delays or complications. Provide favor with the staff and clear communication.

Lord, we lift up the emotional burden— the frustration, the fear, the exhaustion. Replace it with Your peace. Remind our sibling of Your presence in the quiet moments, of Your love in the struggle. When they feel alone, let them sense Your arms around them. When they are overwhelmed, fill them with Your strength.

We thank You for the progress already seen, for the scars that are healing beautifully. We trust You for the complete restoration of the skin, without disfigurement or lasting damage. Let this season of affliction be a testimony of Your goodness. Surround our sibling with Your angels, encamped around them (**Psalm 34:7**), protecting them from further harm.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this trial to draw them deeper into Your heart. Let them experience Your comfort in ways they never have before. And when this passes—and it *will* pass—may they look back and see Your hand in every detail.

We pray all this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.*

Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is near. Keep speaking His Word over your body, keep praising Him even in the waiting, and trust that He is working all things for your good (**Romans 8:28**). We are standing with you in faith. Update us as you’re able—we are eager to rejoice with you as healing manifests!
