Impetigo struggles

Kensem

Beloved of All
Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming. I sanitize lots of fabrics every day at high temperatures, clean up several times, have faith and try new cleaning and shower products, creams…Thank God for all these… thank God for providing products and strength to clean up…. It is just emotionally tiring.

There are some places that I can’t reach, and unfortunately there is no one nearby who can help me take care of those scars. Please pray for these as well.

My skin has reacted to the glue that keeps the patches on my skin. It is irritated. Thank God I have found a cream that helps this redness and allergy…

Please pray fervently that all harmful bacteria stop spreading. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray that the antibiotics will not have any side effects, such as pain, damage to other organs or blood effects. Please pray in Jesus' name.
Please pray that all medical check-ups will be successful and that it will be easy to make appointments with the medical staff. Please pray for guidance in this area as well. Please pray that I won't be tormented by the fear of possible outcomes. Please pray for peace of mind and strength of heart. Recently, I have experienced minor pain in the right side of my chest.

Thankfully, some of the scars are healing beautifully, but some are still discharging a yellowish liquid, which is slightly worrying. Please pray that I can clean the wounds skilfully every day. I am doing my best.

In Jesus mighty name, amen.

Update…. Today, I used a new shower gel which does not irritate my scars, but I feel dizzy. I have to lie down as I don't have the strength to cover the scars. I have stomach pain.

Please pray that dizziness, pain, itching stops in Jesus name amen.

Some new unidentified spots appeared. Please pray for these as well to heal and disappear in Jesus name.

We lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that He is your Healer and Comfort in this time of physical and emotional weariness. You have shown great diligence in caring for your body, trusting God’s provision, and we commend you for your perseverance in this trial. Yet we also recognize how overwhelming this season must feel—the relentless cycle of new spots, the exhaustion of self-care, the fear of complications, and the loneliness of not having help for hard-to-reach areas. The Lord sees your struggle, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your labor in tending to your body is not in vain.

We rejoice with you that some scars are healing beautifully, for this is a testament to God’s faithfulness. Yet we also bring before Him the areas still discharging, the unidentified spots, the dizziness, stomach pain, and itching—every detail of your suffering. The Word declares that *by His stripes you are healed* (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise, asking the Lord to halt the spread of this infection completely. May the antibiotics work effectively without harmful side effects, and may your body respond with strength, not weakness. We pray specifically against the minor pain in your chest, rebuking any fear or anxiety tied to it, and ask the Lord to reveal its cause and bring swift relief. His peace, which surpasses understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Your mention of the blood of Jesus covering your body is powerful, for it is *by His blood* we have redemption and healing (Ephesians 1:7). We join you in declaring that no weapon formed against you—whether bacteria, irritation, or fear—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge, and He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray for divine wisdom as you navigate medical appointments, that doors would open easily for check-ups, and that the medical staff would be guided by the Lord’s hand in your treatment. May you encounter favor and clarity in every interaction.

The emotional toll of this battle is just as real as the physical one. You were not designed to carry this alone, and we ask the Lord to provide practical help—whether through a neighbor, a friend, or even a creative solution you haven’t yet considered—to assist with the areas you cannot reach. He is the God who *sets the lonely in families* (Psalm 68:6), and He will not leave you without support. We also pray for rest for your weary soul. The Lord Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Lay your overwhelm at His feet, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

As for the dizziness and stomach pain today, we rebuke these symptoms in the name of Jesus, commanding them to cease immediately. May your body be restored to strength, and may you find the energy to tend to your wounds without hindrance. We thank God for the new shower gel that doesn’t irritate your scars, and we pray that any reaction causing dizziness would be short-lived and harmless. The Lord is your strength, and He will uphold you (Isaiah 41:10).

Finally, we exhort you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). This trial is temporary, but His love for you is eternal. Do not lose heart, for *"though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day"* (2 Corinthians 4:16). The scars you bear now will one day be a testimony of God’s healing power. We declare that this impetigo will not define you, but rather, the Lord’s victory over it will.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is weary in body and spirit. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask You to stretch out Your hand over every spot, every wound, every irritation on their skin. Command the harmful bacteria to die and cease spreading, for You spoke all things into existence and have authority over every cell in their body. Let the antibiotics fulfill their purpose without harm, and let no side effects take root. Touch the areas that are difficult to reach—let Your healing power flow where human hands cannot. We pray for complete restoration, that every scar would heal smoothly, without discharge or pain, and that the unidentified spots would vanish in Jesus’ mighty name.

Lord, we lift up the dizziness, stomach pain, and fatigue that have overwhelmed them today. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we rebuke these symptoms and command strength to return to their body. Let them rise with vigor to tend to their needs, and let Your peace flood their mind, casting out all fear of the unknown. You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for supernatural ease in scheduling medical appointments, for wisdom in every decision, and for Your hand to guide the doctors and nurses involved in their care.

Father, we ask You to send help—whether through a person or a divine idea—to assist them in places they cannot reach. You are their Provider, and You will meet this need. Comfort their heart, Lord, in the loneliness of this struggle. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are with them always (Matthew 28:20). Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), and let them feel Your presence tangibly as they wash, sanitize, and tend to their body.

We thank You for the progress they’ve seen, for the products that have brought relief, and for their unwavering faith in the midst of this trial. Let this season be a testimony of Your goodness, and let them emerge with a deeper trust in You. May they soon look back and see how You carried them through every step.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray—*the name above every name, by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord* (Philippians 2:10-11). Amen and amen.

*"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3)
*"I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* (Jeremiah 30:17)

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father heal and strengthen this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
