Impetigo struggles

Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming. I sanitize lots of fabrics every day at high temperatures, clean up several times, have faith and try new cleaning and shower products, creams…Thank God for all these… thank God for providing products and strength to clean up…. It is just emotionally tiring.

There are some places that I can’t reach, and unfortunately there is no one nearby who can help me take care of those scars. Please pray for these as well.

My skin has reacted to the glue that keeps the patches on my skin. It is irritated. Thank God I have found a cream that helps this redness and allergy…

Please pray fervently that all harmful bacteria stop spreading. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray that the antibiotics will not have any side effects, such as pain, damage to other organs or blood effects. Please pray in Jesus' name.
Please pray that all medical check-ups will be successful and that it will be easy to make appointments with the medical staff. Please pray for guidance in this area as well. Please pray that I won't be tormented by the fear of possible outcomes. Please pray for peace of mind and strength of heart. Recently, I have experienced minor pain in the right side of my chest.

Thankfully, some of the scars are healing beautifully, but some are still discharging a yellowish liquid, which is slightly worrying. Please pray that I can clean the wounds skilfully every day. I am doing my best.

Update…. Today, I used a new shower gel which does not irritate my scars, but I feel dizzy. I have to lie down as I don't have the strength to cover the scars. I have stomach pain.

Please pray that dizziness, pain, itching stops in Jesus name amen.

We lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion, knowing that He is your Healer and your Strength in this season of physical and emotional weariness. You have shown great faith in declaring the blood of Jesus over your body, and we join you in that proclamation, for it is written, *"By his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We also rejoice with you that some of your wounds are healing—this is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and we claim complete restoration over every part of your body in Jesus’ name.

The enemy seeks to discourage you with new spots, discomfort, and fear, but we rebuke every scheme of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Though the battle feels overwhelming, remember that *"He gives power to the weak; and to those who have no might, he increases strength"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). You are not alone in this—God sees your diligence in caring for your body, and He will sustain you. Even when you cannot reach certain areas, we pray that His healing touch would cover every inch of your skin, for nothing is too difficult for Him (Jeremiah 32:17, WEB).

We also pray over the dizziness, stomach pain, and reactions to medications. May the Lord guard your body from harmful side effects and grant you wisdom as you navigate treatments. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). If this dizziness or pain persists, we urge you to seek medical attention promptly, trusting that God will guide your steps and provide clarity.

The yellowish discharge and lingering scars may cause concern, but we declare that the Lord is renewing your skin day by day. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We pray for skillful hands as you clean your wounds, for divine protection against infection, and for supernatural healing to accelerate. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB), casting out every tormenting fear of the unknown.

Lastly, we thank God for providing the resources you need—creams, cleaning supplies, and medical care. Even in the small victories, like finding a shower gel that doesn’t irritate your skin, we see His provision. Let this encourage you: *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is weary in body and spirit. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand over every wound, every scar, and every new spot appearing on their skin. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we command this impetigo to cease spreading—let it dry up and vanish in Your name. Lord, touch the places they cannot reach; let Your healing virtue flow through their bloodstream, cleansing and restoring.

We pray for protection over their organs, their blood, and their entire body from any harm caused by medications or infections. Remove the dizziness, the stomach pain, and every adverse reaction. Grant them strength to rise again and tend to their needs without faltering. Father, we ask for Your peace to flood their mind, replacing fear with faith, anxiety with assurance, and weariness with hope.

Guide them to the right medical professionals, open doors for appointments, and let every check-up bring good news. Where there is discharge, let there be drying and healing. Where there is irritation, let there be soothing. Where there is pain, let there be comfort. Lord, renew their skin as only You can, leaving no room for the enemy’s work.

We thank You for the progress already seen and trust You for complete restoration. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power and love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—*amen and amen.*

It is not His will for this affliction to persist, and we join you in commanding every new spot to cease in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that the blood of Christ covers you completely—body, mind, and spirit.

We know how wearying this season has been for you, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. The constant vigilance of cleaning, sanitizing, and tending to your wounds while managing the discomfort and side effects can feel overwhelming, yet we see your faithfulness in stewardship over what God has entrusted to you. You are not unseen in your diligence, and we pray that the Lord renews your strength moment by moment, just as He promises in Isaiah 40:29-31. May He surround you with His peace that surpasses understanding, guarding your heart and mind from fear and anxiety over medical outcomes or the unknown. We ask specifically for His comforting hand to rest upon the pain in your side and for wisdom as you navigate medical appointments and treatments.

Father, we plead for the complete halting of this bacterial spread—let it be cut off at the root, unable to take hold in any new area of her body. We pray for supernatural healing over the scars that are still discharging, that they would close fully and cleanly, free from infection or irritation. Give her skillful hands and clarity of mind as she cares for each wound, and let every product she uses be a tool for restoration, not further discomfort. We rebuked the dizziness, stomach pain, and itching in Jesus’ name, declaring that her body will not be tormented by these symptoms but will align with Your perfect design for health and wholeness.

Sister, we are also praying for practical provision—whether through creative solutions, unexpected help, or divine guidance—to reach the areas you cannot tend to alone. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will not leave you without the support you need, even if it comes in ways you don’t yet see.

As you wait, we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that this struggle is temporary, but God’s work in you is eternal. He is refining your faith like gold, and though this season is hard, it will not be wasted. If you’ve seen further answers since your last update, we’d love to praise God with you!
