Impetigo - struggles

Thank God some spots are healing, but new ones are appearing. The doctors say it spreads through the blood. I have read it spreads by touch.
Please pray in Jesus' name that the new spots stop appearing. I claim the blood of Jesus over my body and my life. Amen.
I am so tired of seeing these new scars…. Self care can be so overwhelming. I sanitize lots of fabrics every day at high temperatures, clean up several times, have faith and try new cleaning and shower products, creams…Thank God for all these… thank God for providing products and strength to clean up…. It is just emotionally tiring.

There are some places that I can’t reach, and unfortunately there is no one nearby who can help me take care of those scars. Please pray for these as well.

My skin has reacted to the glue that keeps the patches on my skin. It is irritated. Thank God I have found a cream that helps this redness and allergy…

Please pray fervently that all harmful bacteria stop spreading. In Jesus' name, amen.

Please pray that the antibiotics will not have any side effects, such as pain, damage to other organs or blood effects. Please pray in Jesus' name.
Please pray that all medical check-ups will be successful and that it will be easy to make appointments with the medical staff. Please pray for guidance in this area as well. Please pray that I won't be tormented by the fear of possible outcomes. Please pray for peace of mind and strength of heart. Recently, I have experienced minor pain in the right side of my chest.

Thankfully, some of the scars are healing beautifully, but some are still discharging a yellowish liquid, which is slightly worrying. Please pray that I can clean the wounds skilfully every day. I am doing my best.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we thank Him that you have called upon the name of Jesus in faith, for it is by His stripes that we are healed and through His name that we have access to the Father. Your trust in the blood of Jesus over your body and life is a powerful declaration, and we join you in proclaiming His victory over this affliction. The Word tells us in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We stand on this promise with you, believing that the Lord is your healer and that He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

We rebuke this impetigo in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding all harmful bacteria to cease spreading through your body. The Lord rebuked diseases and fevers in His earthly ministry, and by His authority, we declare that this infection must bow to the power of Christ. *"He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."* (Psalm 107:20). May the Lord’s healing word go forth into every part of your body, stopping the formation of new spots and bringing restoration to your skin. We pray specifically for those areas you cannot reach—may the Lord’s hand touch them supernaturally, cleansing and healing what you cannot tend to yourself.

The emotional and physical toll of this trial is not unseen by our Father. We know how wearying it can be to battle both the physical symptoms and the mental strain of constant care. But take heart, beloved, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that He would refresh your spirit, granting you peace that surpasses understanding as you tend to your body. May He provide creative solutions and wisdom for your daily routines, making the burden lighter and your efforts more effective. You are not alone in this—He is with you, and He will sustain you.

We also lift up your concerns about the antibiotics and medical care. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* (3 John 1:2). May the Lord protect your body from any harmful side effects of the medication, preserving your organs, blood, and overall health. We pray for favor with medical staff, that appointments would be easily scheduled, and that each check-up would bring clarity, encouragement, and progress. Cast your anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). That minor pain in your chest—we rebuked it in Jesus’ name and pray for complete assurance that the Lord is guarding your heart, both physically and spiritually. May fear have no place in your mind, but instead, may you be filled with the peace of God, which guards your heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

As for the wounds that are still discharging, we ask the Lord to accelerate their healing, closing them completely and restoring your skin to wholeness. May His healing power flow through your hands as you clean and tend to them, giving you skill and precision. *"The Lord will take away from you all sickness; and he will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you, but will lay them on all those who hate you."* (Deuteronomy 7:15). Claim this promise, sister—this disease is not your portion in Christ.

Finally, we thank the Lord for the scars that are healing beautifully, for they are a testament to His faithfulness. Even in this trial, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We pray that you would see His hand in every small victory, and that your faith would be strengthened as you witness His healing power. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and He is restoring you day by day.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is battling this persistent affliction. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch forth Your hand over her body right now. Stop the spread of this impetigo by the power of Your blood, Jesus. Let no new spots form, and let every existing wound be cleansed, closed, and restored. Touch the places she cannot reach—let Your healing virtue flow to every part of her skin, bringing complete and total restoration.

We pray for protection over her body as she takes the antibiotics. Guard her organs, her blood, and her entire system from any harm, and let these medications serve their purpose without adverse effects. Grant her wisdom in her medical care, Father, and open doors for easy appointments and successful check-ups. Remove all fear of the unknown from her heart, and fill her with Your perfect peace. Lord, we ask that You would also address that minor pain in her chest—let it be nothing, and let her heart be strong and whole in You.

Father, we thank You for the progress she has already seen. Encourage her heart as she tends to her wounds, and let her hands be guided by Your Spirit. Provide for her every need, whether it’s strength, rest, or the right products to aid in her healing. You are her Provider, and we trust You to supply all that is necessary.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that You would draw her closer to Yourself through this trial. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, and remind her that she is deeply loved and cherished by You. Renew her mind with Your truth, and let her joy be restored as she waits on You.

We declare that this impetigo has no authority over her in Jesus’ name. By His wounds, she *is* healed. We command all inflammation, irritation, and infection to cease now, and we speak life, health, and wholeness over her body. Let her testimony be one of Your mighty power and grace.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing. May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of Your healing and peace. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
