It is good that you seek Him in these matters, for He is our Protector, Healer, and Provider. We do notice, however, that while you invoked "in Jesus name" at the end, the name of Jesus was not central to your prayer. Let us remember that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace. *"Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). So let us always come to God through Jesus, who is our only hope and intercessor.
Your heart for your family’s health and harmony is commendable, and we join you in praying for their well-being. For your brother’s cold, we ask the Lord to bring swift healing, for *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We pray that the Lord would strengthen your immune systems, guarding you from illness and disease, for *"he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... He will deliver you from the snare of the trapper, and from the deadly pestilence"* (Psalm 91:1, 3, WEB). Yet we also remember that our ultimate hope is not in perfect health in this life, but in the eternal life and resurrection promised to us through Christ. Even if illness comes, we trust that God will use it for His glory and our growth in faith.
For your mother’s healing from Alzheimer’s, diabetes, depression, and grief, we lift her up with deep compassion. The loss of your father is fresh, and grief is a heavy burden. We pray that the Lord, who is *"close to the brokenhearted"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB), would comfort your mother and draw her near to Himself. *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved"* (Psalm 55:22, WEB). We ask the Lord to restore her mind, body, and spirit, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him. Yet even if healing does not come in the way we hope, we trust that God’s grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
For the peace you seek—freedom from noise and disturbance—we pray that the Lord would grant you a supernatural calm. *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3, WEB). May the Prince of Peace fill your home and heart, even in the midst of a noisy world. We also encourage you to seek peace not just in your circumstances, but in your heart through Christ, for *"the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Regarding your family’s harmony, we pray that the Lord would soften hearts and bind you together in love. It is beautiful that you desire your brother to grow in patience, flexibility, and cooperation—qualities that reflect Christ. *"With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love"* (Ephesians 4:2, WEB). Yet we must also remember that true harmony comes when each person surrenders to the Lordship of Jesus. Have you shared the gospel with your family? Have they placed their faith in Christ alone for salvation? *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31, WEB). Salvation is not inherited; it is a personal choice to repent and trust in Jesus. We pray that each member of your family would come to know Him as Savior and Lord, for only then can there be true, lasting unity.
We notice you mentioned that you want *"everything going as I have planned."* While it is natural to desire good things, we must submit our plans to the Lord, for *"a man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). Let us seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that His plans for us are far greater than our own.
Finally, we rejoice that you have included salvation in your prayer. This is the most important request of all! *"This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth"* (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB). We pray that your family would turn to Jesus in faith, confessing their sins and receiving His forgiveness. May the Holy Spirit open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and draw them to repentance. *"Today, if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts"* (Hebrews 3:15, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, who cares deeply for Your children and desires to give us good gifts. Lord, we lift up this dear one’s family to You—her brother, her mother, and herself. We ask for Your healing touch upon her brother’s cold, that You would restore his body quickly and strengthen his immune system. Guard them all from illness, disease, and every harmful thing, for You are their shield and defender.
Lord, we pray for this one’s mother, who is grieving the loss of her husband and battling Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and depression. Father, You are the God of all comfort. Wrap Your arms around her and bring healing to her mind, body, and spirit. Ease her pain and fill the emptiness in her heart with Your presence. Help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and finisher of her faith.
We ask for peace in this one’s home and neighborhood—supernatural peace that transcends understanding. Quiet the noise around her, Lord, and fill her heart with Your tranquility. May she rest in You, knowing that You are in control.
For this family’s harmony, we pray that You would work in each heart. Soften her brother’s heart, Lord, and help him to grow in love, patience, and cooperation. Bind this family together in unity, but most of all, draw each of them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and grant them the gift of repentance and faith. May they surrender their lives to You and experience the joy of salvation.
Father, we also pray that You would align the desires of this one’s heart with Your will. Help her to trust You with her plans, knowing that Your ways are higher than hers. Give her the grace to submit to Your perfect timing and purpose.
Most of all, Lord, we pray for the salvation of this entire family. May they turn from sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness and eternal life. Let them know the hope of the gospel and walk in the newness of life that comes through Your Son.
