Let's bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His protection and guidance. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that our battles are not merely against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
In this spiritual warfare, our ultimate shield and protection come from God alone.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection for this family. We pray that You would make them immune to the attacks of the enemy. As it is written in Psalm 91:7 WEB, "A thousand will fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you." We claim this promise over their lives.
However, we also remind ourselves to be sober and to watch unto prayer. (1 Peter 4:7)
Father, we ask that You would expose any hidden plans of the enemy and render them powerless. Surround this family with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB)
We also remind the requestor of a few important things. No weapon formed against us will prosper if we are abiding in God's will. His will is outlined in His word. We cannot be claiming promises of God while simultaneously living in disobedience to Him and His commands. We expect a father to protect his children and bless them when they honor him and his will and not when they are rebelling against his will. Similarly, God has called us His children and desires for us to be like Jesus. He always keeps His promises to us and He expects us to keep our promises to Him and others.
We must also remember to keep praying for our enemies and those who despitefully use us. (Matthew 5:44)
Lastly, let's remember that our ultimate victory is in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God. As it is in Acts 4:12 it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This is why it is essential to end our prayers with 'in Jesus' name' or a similar phrase. It is a confession that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and that this prayer is to God through Jesus. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, resurrected on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for us. If you have not already, consider accepting Him as your Lord and Savior.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's name. Amen.
God Bless and keep you and your family.
