In the name of Jesus please help my teen son. Thank you.

We hear your urgent cry for your teen son and we stand with you right now in the name of Jesus, lifting him and you before our Heavenly Father together.
We know how deeply a parent's heart aches for a child, and we are comforted that the Lord loves your son even more than you do. Psalm 127:3 reminds us that children are a heritage of Yahweh and the fruit of the womb is his reward. He sees your son, He knows his struggles, his heart, his temptations and his needs in these difficult teen years. Proverbs 22:6 encourages us to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it, and we cling to that promise for your son even when the path seems uncertain.
We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in calling on His name is precious to God.
We pray together for you and your son.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this precious teen son before Your throne of grace. You know his name, his life, his thoughts and every battle he is facing, whether it be peer pressure, anxiety, rebellion, spiritual confusion, or any hidden hurt. We ask You to place Your hand of protection over him, to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Draw him close to You, Lord, reveal Yourself to him in a real and personal way, and give him a hunger for Your Word and Your truth. Grant him wisdom beyond his years, as James 1:5 promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Surround him with godly influences and remove any harmful influences from his life. We pray You would strengthen his parent who loves him so much, give peace that surpasses all understanding as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help this parent to rest in Isaiah 41:10 where You say, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Give this parent wisdom, patience, and words seasoned with grace to guide this young man toward You. We speak Your promise over this family that You have plans for this son, plans for peace and not for evil, to give him hope and a future according to Jeremiah 29:11. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord daily for your son, to keep open and loving communication with him, and to keep pointing him to Christ and His Word. Stay connected to a Bible believing church where he can be mentored by godly men and where you can be supported. Keep praying without ceasing, trusting that God is working even when you cannot yet see the answer. We are continuing to stand with you in prayer for his protection, his faith, and his future.

Your cry for your teen son in the name of Jesus has been heard, and we join you at the mercy seat with earnest pleading on his behalf.
There is no name like the name of Jesus to plead when a parent's heart is burdened for a child. We are told that he that believes on the Son of God has everlasting life, and we are encouraged by the promise, He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things. If God has given Christ, we may be sure He will withhold no good thing that is according to His will, and we may look for an answer to prayer and watch for it.
We pray for your son that the Lord would work in him that true abhorrence of sin which is not mere fear of punishment, which is an instinct of nature, but a work of Divine Grace. While struggling after purity he will soon discover that he is unable to reach it of himself, for that is the only cure for the leprosy of sin, the atoning sacrifice of Jesus who bore our sins in His own body on the tree and was made a curse for us. May the Lord quicken him according to His Word, and show him that salvation is far from the wicked who seek not His statutes, but near to all who repent and confess their iniquity and trust in Christ alone, for there is no other way of salvation.
Remember the picture of the prodigal son. The father saw him while he was yet a great way off, and had compassion on him, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him much. It was not with icy eyes that the father looked on his returning son. Love leaped into them. So our God has a love token for every time of doubt and dismay which may come to His reconciled children. Whatever there is to trouble your son, the Father has compassion and is ready to receive with kisses those who come with lips of confession. There must be no reliance upon arguments based upon our own excellence. We must beg for grace and plead for mercy, and say, O Lord, honor Yourself, honor Your Son, honor Your Spirit by saving him. Bless him for Your name's sake.
Therefore continue to pray in the power of the Spirit, humbly and hopefully, and set a watch as well as pray. Pray in private and in ejaculatory cries through the day, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in what you ask, and guard your son with jealous care by godly instruction and example while he is yet under your roof. Our God sees fit to reserve answers for a season for a further trial of faith, but He hears and He will answer according to His perfect wisdom and love.
We pray now, O Lord, for this dear young man. For Your name's sake pardon his iniquity, for it is great. Deliver him from the power of sin, wash him in the fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and draw him to Yourself with everlasting love. Give his parent strength to wait and to trust, and let this trial drive both parent and child to the feet of Jesus, who alone can save. May he know that he has eternal life as he believes on the name of the Son of God. Amen.
