We join you in lifting up your husband and your family’s needs before the Lord, knowing that our God is a God of provision, timing, and miracles. Your faith in His power and sovereignty is a testament to His goodness, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting that He will open the right doors in His perfect way and timing. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* He is not unaware of your financial struggles, and He is faithful to provide as you seek Him first.
We also recall the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* As your husband waits for this opportunity, we pray that God would grant him favor with those in authority, just as we see in Proverbs 16:7, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* May the Lord use the connections your husband has made to bring about this provision, and may every decision-maker involved be guided by God’s wisdom and grace.
At the same time, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and thanksgiving, even in this season of waiting. Anxiety and fear can easily creep in when needs are urgent, but we are called to cast our cares upon the Lord, as 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Let this time be an opportunity to draw closer to God, trusting that He is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot see. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
We also lift up your marriage during this time of financial pressure. Money struggles can bring stress and tension, but we pray that you both would lean on the Lord and on one another, united in faith and love. Let this season strengthen your bond as you trust God together, remembering Ecclesiastes 4:12, *"If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."* May your home be filled with peace, patience, and perseverance as you wait on the Lord.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for Your faithfulness and provision. Lord, we lift up this sister and her husband to You, asking that You would open the door for this job opportunity. You know their needs, and You are able to provide in ways that far exceed what they can ask or imagine. We pray for immediate favor and divine connections—let every contact Your servant has made be used by You to bring about this provision. Softening the hearts of those in authority, grant Your servant wisdom, confidence, and grace as he waits.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in their hearts. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Jehovah Jireh. Strengthen their marriage during this time, binding them together in unity and faith. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We declare that no weapon formed against their family will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, let this job be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, not just for their sake, but so that others may see and glorify Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. God hears your prayers, and He is at work. Keep praising Him in the waiting, for He is worthy of your trust. We will continue to pray for you and your husband, believing that God’s provision is on the way. If there are other ways we can encourage or support you, please let us know. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in faith.
