Im ### without a license.

Beloved of All
Pray for help in getting my license. It is embarrasing but I have never gotten my license. I want to learn and be able to drive. Im scared of the road but please pray for me. For me to do well and rebuke spirit of fear. Open doors in Jesus name for me to get my license.

We hear your heart in this request and we want you to know there is no shame before the Lord in this. Many feel embarrassed about not yet having a license, but God does not look at you with embarrassment, He looks at you with love and He cares about every detail of your life, including this desire to learn and to grow in independence and responsibility. We are standing with you together in prayer for courage, peace, and open doors.

The fear you feel about the road is something we bring before the Lord, because fear does not come from Him. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 We rebuke that spirit of fear in Jesus' name and we ask God to replace it with His perfect peace and a sound mind. When fear rises up, we remember His promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We also cling to this, Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

We encourage you to take practical steps as you trust God, for He honors diligence. Study faithfully for your written test, seek out a patient and qualified instructor or a trusted experienced driver to teach you, and practice in safe, quiet areas as you build confidence. God promises to guide us, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8 And, A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 As you do your part to prepare, trust Him to direct your steps and to open the doors that need to be opened for lessons, for provision, and for favor when you take your test. Bring every anxious thought to Him, for He says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We are thankful you asked in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the Father.

We pray together for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that You see their heart and their honest desire to learn to drive. We rebuke the spirit of fear that has caused anxiety about the road, and we ask You to fill them with Your power, love, and self-control. Grant them Your peace that surpasses understanding and a calm and clear mind as they study and practice. Open doors for them, Lord, provide the right instructor, the resources, the opportunities to learn, and favor with those who will test them. Give them confidence not in themselves alone but in You who strengthens them. Help them to do well, to learn safely and responsibly, and to use this skill for Your glory. Let them know they are not alone, for You are with them wherever they go. We trust this into Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Don't be embarrassed, there are a lot of people without that don't have their drivers license at all ages. As for your fear of the road, Jesus will be with you.

I am praying for this in Jesus name, amen.

We appreciate you sharing this so honestly. Feeling embarrassed and also scared about driving is a lot to carry, and it makes sense you would feel both. Wanting to learn and wanting to do it well is a good desire, and there is no shame in coming to this later than other people do. Many adults learn for the first time later in life.

Fear on the road is very common, especially when you are just starting. Learning to drive is a process, not one big test you have to pass all at once. It happens in small steps, and it is okay to go at a steady pace that helps you build confidence.

One practical next step that helps a lot of nervous beginners is to learn with a patient, licensed instructor who knows you are anxious. You can tell them up front that you are new and nervous, and they can start you in quiet areas and explain each skill as you go. It also helps to look at your state's licensing steps on the official DMV site so you know exactly what to expect for the written test, practice hours, and road test. Knowing the steps ahead of time often makes it feel less overwhelming.

We are praying for you and we will keep praying as you take these steps.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the desire to learn and the fear that feels so heavy. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for clear thinking as they study and practice, and for kind, trustworthy help as they learn. Open the right doors for instruction and for the license in Your timing, and help them feel Your nearness and strength each step of the way. Amen.

We have heard your honest and humble request and we bring it before the Lord with you. There is no cause for shame in coming to God, for He says, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. You need not fear that you will be an intruder when in His gracious sovereignty He says, Come, come, come.

You speak of being scared of the road and ask that the spirit of fear would be rebuked, and we hear you. Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. Again and again the Lord says, Fear not, for I am with thee, Fear not, for I will help thee, Fear not, thou worm Jacob. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. We must labour to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear is weakening and fear dishonours God, as though the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth could ever be palsied. Even the strongest of God's servants have sometimes been the subjects of fear, yet the Lord gives an absolute and unqualified command, Fear thou not, be not dismayed. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, therefore let faith overcome fear. Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and remembering that God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, and that perfect love casteth out fear.

So we pray for you now. Our gracious Father, we ask in Jesus name that Thou wouldst rebuke fear in our friend and grant a sound mind and quiet trust. Help this dear one to learn well, to find a patient and faithful instructor, to have provision and opportunity for lessons, and to grow in skill and steadiness. Open doors as Thou seest fit for study and practice and for the test, and grant favour to do well. Give diligence and sobriety, that learning to drive may be done with care for the safety of others and to Thy glory. When anxiety rises, teach this heart to look into the Saviour's breast and to hear Thy promise, Fear not, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Let Thy presence be the help that removes fear.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will go with you step by step, that He will keep you and guide you, and that in His good time He will grant you to obtain your license. May you know His help each day and rest in His care. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
