I'm totally souled out to Jesus

We rejoice with you in the decision to fully surrender your life to Jesus Christ! Your declaration of devotion is a powerful testimony of faith, and we stand with you in celebrating this commitment. The world may try to sway believers with doubt, peer pressure, or even mockery, but Scripture reminds us:

"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to one and despise the other." (Matthew 6:24 WEB)

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful." (Hebrews 10:23 WEB)

Your resolve to remain steadfast in Christ is commendable, and we encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him. Surround yourself with fellow believers who will strengthen your faith, study God’s Word diligently, and pray without ceasing. The enemy will seek to distract or discourage you, but remember:

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 WEB)

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear brother/sister in Christ, who has declared their wholehearted devotion to You. Lord, we ask that You continue to draw them closer to Your heart, deepening their faith and filling them with Your Holy Spirit. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and the influence of those who may seek to pull them away from You. Strengthen their resolve to walk in obedience and purity, and let their life be a shining light for Your glory. Surround them with godly community and wisdom to discern Your will in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

If your friends are unsaved, pray for their salvation as well. Share the hope of Christ with them in love, knowing that God desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Your testimony could be the very tool God uses to draw them to Himself. Keep shining for Jesus!

It is good to sit with you in that kind of declaration. What you are describing sounds like the kind of faith that is not just intellectual agreement, but a steady confidence, an unshakable trust that holds even when the people around you do not share it, or when your feelings might shift. We do not have to chase every doubt or argument from friends, because real faith is a gift that settles deep, often far beneath our changing emotions.

That settled place in you is worth protecting, not by closing yourself off, but by simply feeding what is already alive. When others push back or question, it can actually send you closer to Christ rather than further away. Standing firm on your own can sometimes feel lonely, but you are not inventing this faith from nothing, the same Spirit who first drew you is still holding you steady today.

Your loyalty to Jesus is a good and living thing, and we are genuinely encouraged by it. Keep turning toward Him, not out of defensiveness, but because you actually know Him. That is the very best place to be.

Jesus, we thank You for the gift of a faith that does not depend on the approval of others. Keep this one steady and undivided in heart, and deepen their confidence in You as the most trustworthy anchor. Protect their joy, and let their quiet loyalty be a witness to those around them. Amen.

How blessed it is to hear such a resolution! To be fully and unreservedly the Lord’s, this is the very mark of the redeemed. Yet let me press you gently: the faith that never flinches under trial, the faith that remains steadfast when friends mock or entice, must be a faith of the right kind. It is one thing to profess with the lips; it is another to possess that precious faith which is the gift of God and the work of the Spirit. The just shall live by faith, from the beginning to the close, no mere passing emotion, but a lifelong clinging to Christ alone.

Your boast is noble, but remember that a faith untested is like a diamond uncut, its brilliance yet unseen. The Lord often proves His children by allowing the world, the flesh, and the devil to hurl their fiery darts. When they come, and they will, take up the shield of faith. It will bear the blows and turn the sharpest swords to shivers. Do not think it strange if your friends’ words are used as a furnace to try your metal; such trials are ordained to show whether you have the faith of God’s elect, which cannot be destroyed.

Yet let me ask: does this faith produce fruit? The faith that saves is never alone; it brings repentance and holiness in its train. Rahab’s faith made her quit her former life. The faith which allows a person to continue in sin without a struggle, without a longing after purity, is no better than the faith of devils, for they believe and tremble. True faith sanctifies; it grips the soul and transforms it into the likeness of Jesus.

So hold fast your confidence, but see that it is a living, obedient, cross-bearing faith. Little faith may be true faith, but O, seek for that which lays hold of Christ with both hands and dares all for Him. When the winds howl and the waters rise, your faith will be the channel of almighty strength. Above all, keep your eyes on the risen Lord, He is the rock beneath your feet. If He be yours, nothing in heaven or earth can finally prevail against you. Only be sure that your soul is anchored, not in your own strong feelings, but in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You say you are totally sold out to Jesus, and that no words of your friends can shake you. This is a glad sound, yet remember that the proof of such boldness is not in the peaceful haven but in the storm. When the winds blow and the waves rise, the faith that is merely spoken often sinks, while the faith that is worked out in deeds stands firm. The Lord permitted Peter to walk on water, and the wind did not cause him to sink; his doubt did.

So too for you: do not rest on this present warmth of soul, but see that your faith is grounded and steadfast, not moved away from the hope of the gospel by any trial. For the Devil does not merely assail with the arguments of friends; he will send contrary thoughts, losses, and hidden fears. In that hour, hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of your hope firm to the end. This is the work of God: that you believe not only with your lips but with a heart so fixed that neither pleasure nor pain throws you into disorder.

As a soldier stands in good order, unshaken by the onset, so let your faith be compacted by love and proven by endurance. God Himself tries those whom He approves, not to learn what He already knows, but to manifest your fortitude to all. So I do not merely rejoice at your declaration; I pray that you may be found steadfast when the trial comes, that your boast may not be empty, but full of the substance of a living faith.

What a wonderful declaration of faith. To be so fully given to Jesus is to have discovered the treasure that cannot be taken away, reserved in heaven for you by the very power of God. Your hope is anchored in the grace that appeared when Christ suffered and rose, and there is nothing your friends can do to diminish that reality. Stand firm in that confidence, not because your own resolve is unshakeable, but because He who called you is faithful to keep you.

You did not come to this faith by accident. The Holy Spirit has opened your eyes to see the love of God poured out at the cross. While we were still far off, Christ died for us. That love holds you, and it is what you will cling to when friends question or even oppose what you believe. Their words cannot rewrite what Jesus has written in your heart. So you are right to say that nothing they do or say will convince you otherwise.

Now, as you walk this path, do not be surprised if the testing comes. The trying of your faith is more precious than gold that perishes. Friends may misunderstand you, mock you, or pressure you to compromise. Peter reminds us to live with such gentle reverence and good conduct that even those who speak against you may be won over by the life they witness. You do not need to win every argument. Let your manner of living show the difference Christ makes. Let them see the peace that passes understanding, the purity that springs from a heart set apart for God.

Guard against the subtle temptation to rely on your own strength. As passionately as you love Jesus, remember that you are kept by the power of God through faith. The arm of the flesh will fail. It is the Spirit who empowers you to live a life that honors Him. Arm yourself with the mind of Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient. Count yourself dead to the old ways, alive now to walk in newness of life. That means every day you present yourself to God as a living sacrifice, saying no to the lusts that once drove you, and yes to His will.

There will be moments when the adversary tries to sow doubt or wear you down. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that other believers all around the world are facing the same kinds of struggles. You are not alone. And if you stumble, do not hide in shame. Run to Jesus. His righteousness is already yours, complete and perfect. You are not trying to earn it; you already stand in it. So keep adding to your faith virtue, knowledge, self-control. Let your love for the Lord lead you to grow, and you will never be barren or unfruitful.

Be gracious toward your friends. Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Let your speech always be seasoned with grace. If they ask about the hope you carry, be ready to give an answer, not with arrogance but with a clear conscience, so that those who falsely accuse you may be ashamed. And do not be afraid to let them see your dependence on God. A life that demonstrates genuine faith and a prayer-answered miracle of transformation speaks more loudly than any debate.

The path of being totally sold out to Jesus is not always easy, but it is glorious. The prophets themselves searched to understand the grace that was coming to you, a grace now fully revealed in Christ. Rejoice in that, even when the trials press in. Your faith, though it is tested by fire, will result in praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him. Let nothing in this world pull your gaze away.

May the Lord bless you richly and cause you to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Savior. May His Spirit fill you with power to live victoriously, and may your life become a radiant testimony that draws others to the Jesus you love so dearly.

It's so past time for me to be gone. I'm a burden. I deserve death. I want to die but I'm too chicken to take myself out and don't have a method that I'm certain will give me the desired result: my demise. Please God, take me. Don't leave me here to suffer.
