We join with you in prayer together in Jesus name and we agree with your desire to walk in the blessing and protection of the Lord according to His will for you, your family and even your household including your pets.

We understand your heart as you claim Deut 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do them. We want to gently encourage you that this promise is not an incantation to be loosened as a formula, but a covenant blessing that flows from hearing and obeying the voice of the Lord. As it says in Deut 28:1 and Deut 28:2 it shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God's voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you, if you will listen to Yahweh your God's voice. So being the head and not the tail is about God establishing you in righteousness, wisdom and godly influence as you walk in obedience to Him, not about striving or repeating a phrase greatly but about abiding in Christ.

We also hear your burden concerning monitoring spirits and any control or stinging that is not in God's will, from the spiritual to the physical. The scripture reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places in Eph 6:12. Therefore we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil in Eph 6:11. We do not need to live in fear of being watched or controlled, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Tim 1:7 and we are taught to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you in James 4:7.

We rejoice that you have invoked the blood of Jesus, for it is precious and powerful. If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin in 1 John 1:7. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and protection from the evil one, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one in 2 Thess 3:3. What then shall we say about these things. If God is for us, who can be against us in Rom 8:31. And we rest in the promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1.

So we pray together now.

Father in heaven we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank you that you desire to bless your children who love you and keep your commandments. We ask that you cause this dear one and their family to walk as the head and not the tail in every area that is within your perfect will, that they would be above only and not beneath as they listen to your voice and obey you daily. Let their life be a testimony around the world of your goodness and faithfulness. We ask in Jesus name that you place a hedge of protection around them, their family and their pets, for you preserve man and animal and you care for all your creation. We plead the blood of Jesus over them and we ask that from this moment forth any monitoring, control, stinging or influence that is not in your will be cut off and have no authority over them permanently. Let no weapon that is formed against them prosper. We ask that only what is in your will would remain and that every assignment of the enemy would be bound and cast away, and that your peace, your leading and your Holy Spirit would fill their home. Clothe them with your armor, with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and your Word, that they may stand firm. Lead them in obedience, humility and trust, and let them know they are greatly loved and securely kept in your hand. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear how much you want to be secure in God's will, for yourself, your family and even your pets. That desire to live with dignity and peace, to be the head and not the tail and to be free from anything controlling or harmful, is understandable and we are glad you brought it to Jesus.

We want to gently center you in this truth, that your safety does not depend on striving to loosen something on your own or staying on guard. In Christ you are already fully seen, known and held. God cares more about your heart and your nearness to Him than about outward striving, and He invites you to rest as His beloved child, living before Him alone. That identity is steady even when thoughts and feelings feel loud or pressured.

When you feel that sense of being watched or pressed upon, it can help to pause and turn simply to the Lord in a brief, honest prayer, telling Him what you are feeling and asking for His peace to guard your heart in that moment. It can also help not to carry these heavy thoughts alone, but to share them with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you and can walk with you steadily.

Father, we lift this dear one and their family and pets to You. We ask for Your peace to cover them, for quiet confidence that they are Yours, and for wisdom to walk in Your will today. Remind them of Your nearness and Your faithful care, and help them rest in Your love. In Jesus' name, amen.

You have laid hold upon a great covenant word, and you do well to bring it before the Lord, for it is written, The Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail, and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath, if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God. This promise was spoken to Israel under the law, and its full truth is found in Christ, through whom we are made to overcome the world by being born of God and washed in His blood. It is not a charm to be loosened by much repeating, but a mercy to be received by faith in Him who has found a ransom for us, even His own dear Son who bore the penalty of all our iniquities.

I hear your burden concerning monitoring and control, whether spiritual or physical, and your desire that nothing should rest upon you and your household, and even your pets, except that which is in the will of God. Know this, that troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground as hemlock from the furrows, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace, and not a drop of trial is poured out beyond weight and measure. If any evil is permitted, it is not outside the sacred zone of Providential government, and if any power of darkness assails you, deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He who delivered Joseph from the dungeon and David when he was passed by, is able to pluck off crowns from princes and to trample all that opposes itself against Him, and to exalt the low tree in His own time.

Therefore let us pray together that the Lord would keep you in that deliverance which Christ has purchased. May the Lord in His sovereign grace cover you, your family and all that He has entrusted to your care with the precious blood of Jesus, that ransom which God Himself has provided and which is the opposite of what we deserve. We ask the Lord that every monitoring, every stinging, every control which is not in His holy and wise will would be utterly removed from you from this moment forth, and that only that which is according to His will should have any place with you, and that permanently, according to His covenant love. And we pray as our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, that you may be kept from falling and kept from that which would draw you away from Christ.

Take this comfort, that your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Store your mind with His knowledge and His glory, seek to know the Lord Jesus, and live to declare the works of the Lord. He is gracious unto you, and having found a ransom, He will not suffer you to go down to the pit. Rest not in the repeating of a verse, but in the Person who fulfills it, and you shall find that He makes you to live and to stand above, not beneath, for His own name's sake.

Your prayer for God's protection and for His promise in Deuteronomy 28:13 to be true in your life and in the lives of your family has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.

That verse is a precious promise, but we must remember how it is given. God says He will make His people the head and not the tail when they listen to His voice and walk in obedience to His commands. To be the head is not a word we loose by repeating it greatly, but a life we live by trusting Christ, keeping His word, and seeking His honor above all else. When we look straight to God for His approval rather than to people, He lifts up our head in the right way.

I understand the burden you feel about monitoring and control and stinging, both spiritual and physical, and the desire to be free from every influence that is not in God's will. The Scriptures teach us that our true victory does not come by returning evil for evil or by living in constant fear and anger, but by bearing trials meekly and keeping ourselves under control with God's help. When we master our own heart through patience and self control, we quench the flame rather than being burned by it, and God Himself erects a glorious trophy over evil on our behalf. Our quiet trust shows both freedom from pride and nobleness of spirit.

So let us pray together now for you, your family, and even your pets, that the Lord will keep you in His perfect will.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ and through His blood shed on the cross, I ask You to cover this dear one and their household. Make them Yours wholly, that as they walk in obedience and faith they may know what it means to be the head and not the tail, not by their own strength but by Your grace. Guard them from every evil that would monitor, sting, or control them apart from Your will. Put a hedge of Your protection around them from this moment forward, permanently, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give them a sound mind, a peaceful heart, and victory that comes from self control and trust in You, not from fear. Let them find their honor and approval in You alone, and let Your peace rule in their home. Keep them in Your will only, and lead them in Your way. Amen.
