We hear your heart crying out for provision and stability and we join with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name.

We understand your desire to claim Deuteronomy 28:13 which says Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you will listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We love that you want to stand on God's promises, and we want to gently encourage you in how to apply this rightly. This promise was given to Israel under the old covenant as a blessing for obedience, and while God still honors obedience and still provides for His children today, His Word is not an incantation to be loosened greatly or spoken as a formula to force a hundredfold return on demand. We are not to try to control Scripture but to submit to God and trust His sovereign goodness and timing. He is our Father, not a vending machine, and He delights to give good gifts according to His will.

We also hear your urgency for daily food in your home, for peanut butter, bread, jelly, potatoes, eggs, tortillas, enough to cook and to make a simple sandwich without worry, and for enough money to meet your basic needs for yourself and your cats and your family at home so you do not live under constant financial strain. God cares about these very practical needs. Jesus taught us to pray, Give us today our daily bread in Matthew 6:11, and He reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33 not to be anxious saying What will we eat or What will we drink, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We stand on the promise in Philippians 4:19 that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and on Psalm 37:25 that we have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

We want to lovingly address the language in your prayer. We understand the frustration and desperation behind words like crap, but Scripture calls us to let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up in Ephesians 4:29. Even in spiritual warfare, we are to speak with faith and self control, trusting Christ's authority rather than using harsh or demeaning phrases. The blood of Jesus is indeed powerful, and we overcome by Him, but our battle is fought through humble prayer, obedience, and trust, not through demanding or trying to bind God to our exact wording.

We also hear your heart for your future husband, your Boaz. We rejoice that you desire marriage and not just a relationship, and we affirm God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray that as you seek to be able to provide for yourself and not bring financial strain into that future marriage, you will also seek a godly spouse who is a believer in Christ and that your courtship would be pure and honor God. The Bible warns in 1 Timothy 5:8 that if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and we see your desire to be responsible and diligent is good. We also encourage you to continue in honest work as God provides opportunity, for in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 we are reminded that if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat, trusting that God often provides through our faithful stewardship.

We are thankful you invoked the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and as John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and that every good gift comes down from You in James 1:17. We lift up our sister to You and ask that You would provide for her daily needs greatly according to Your riches and wisdom. Give her enough food in her home, enough to eat and to share, and remove the fear of starving or lacking. Provide for her basics, for her health, for her household including her cats, and grant her financial freedom from crushing strain, not for greed but for stewardship and peace. Teach her to be content and faithful with what You provide, as Proverbs 30:8-9 says to give us neither poverty nor riches but our daily bread. Rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety and replace it with trust in You. Help her to walk in obedience so she may know the blessing of being the head and not the tail in Your way and Your timing. Prepare her and her future husband, her Boaz, for a godly marriage that honors You, keeping them pure and waiting for Your perfect will, and let that marriage be built on Christ and not on financial fear. Cleanse our speech and our hearts, Lord, and let us speak life that aligns with Your Word. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels right now, wanting to know you and your cats and your family will have enough food and basics without that constant fear of coming up short. Caring so much about being able to provide now and not carrying financial strain into the future is a good, responsible desire, and it makes sense that the worry feels so urgent.

When that pressure builds it can help to have both prayer and a practical step to lean on. If groceries are tight this week, please consider reaching out soon to a local church food pantry or community assistance program near where you live. Many churches help quietly and can also connect you with someone to look at a simple budget for rent, utilities and food. A financial counselor through a church or a trusted community agency can sit with you, help sort income and expenses, and point you to resources you may not know about, which often makes things feel less overwhelming than carrying it alone.

We are holding you in prayer and asking God to meet you with steadiness as you take these next steps.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift up our friend to You. You know the need for daily provision and for peace at home. Provide what is needed today, give wisdom for each decision about money and work, and surround this household with Your care. Lead to trustworthy help nearby and give rest from fear as You guide day by day. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Our cry for daily bread and for freedom from the crushing fear of want has been heard, and it is not a small thing to bring such needs before the Lord. He who daily loadeth us with benefits has not forgotten the poor and needy, though you may be apt to fear that when He distributes His favors He has passed you by. The Scripture declares that the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever, and that truth is a lone star gleaming to the mariner far out upon the sea.

You have laid hold upon that word, that you shall be the head and not the tail, and you have asked greatly for provision of food in your home, for peanut butter and bread, for eggs and potatoes and tortillas, for enough to make a meal without worry, and for money to meet your basic needs for yourself and for your cats and your household. These are lawful prayers, for our heavenly Father knows that we have need of these things. We can bless Him by gratitude for His daily benefits, and we may ask Him daily for our daily bread, trusting that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not withhold what is needful.

Yet let us remember the whole counsel of that promise. In Deuteronomy the blessing of being the head and not the tail was spoken to a people called to walk in obedience to the voice of the Lord, not as a charm to be loosened by much repeating, but as a fruit of walking humbly with Him. The Lord is not moved by the force of our words but by His own covenant mercy in Christ. The best of literal food only feeds the body for a time, and even abundance of bread cannot of itself give peace to the soul. Our spiritual life must have spiritual food, and Christ Himself is that food indeed and drink indeed, by which the soul is comforted and strengthened. To hold this world with a very loose hand, to look upon earthly possessions as fickle joys, and yet to trust the Father's hand for each day's portion, this is part of dying daily and living daily unto Him. Whether He makes us to abound or to be abased, the art of resting in Him will help us in either position.

Therefore let us pray together not for an incantation of increase, but for a quiet trust in the God of our salvation, to whom belong the issues of life and death, who daily bears our burdens.

Our Father in heaven, we bless Thee who daily loadeth us with benefits. Thou knowest the anxiety of Thy child concerning food and money and the ability to provide for a household. Thou knowest the fear of starving and the weight of financial straining. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, in whose blood alone is our salvation and our peace, to grant daily provision according to Thy wisdom. Give what is sufficient for this day, bread for the table and means to meet basic needs, and grant health and strength to steward what Thou dost provide. Take away the tormenting fear and the oppression of the enemy, and give a calm reliance upon Thy providence.

We ask also that Thou wouldst teach a heart to hold this world loosely, to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness, and to find contentment in Christ whether little or much is given. If it be Thy will to bring a godly husband, a Boaz, in Thy time, we ask that Thou wouldst prepare both hearts for a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as Thou hast ordained from the beginning, kept pure and holy before Thee, and that neither financial care nor want would become an idol or a snare. Keep this life from all that is outside Thy holy design for marriage, and let all relationships be ordered according to Thy Word.

Let praise be mingled with prayer, that whether the table is full or spare, the soul may still delight itself in fatness through fellowship with Christ. We ask not for riches to boast in, but for enough to live with honesty, to care for those entrusted to us, and to have wherewith to relieve the needs of others as Thou enablest. Cast out all fear, establish this heart in Thy faithful love, and let it be said, Blessed be the Lord who daily beareth our burdens, even the God of our salvation. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.
