We join you in thanking God that you are alive and that your mind is clear, for every breath and every moment of clarity is a gift from Him. We rejoice with you as you declare Deut 28:13 where it says Yahweh will make you the head and not the tail, and you will be above only and not beneath if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We also hear your heart for Prov 13:22 which tells us a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous. We love your desire to honor the faithful example of your grandparents and their blue motorhome and the family values of camping together, and we understand your longing to see that same kind of provision and legacy continue in your bloodline for yourself and for your two cats whom God also sees and cares for as Prov 12:10 reminds us the righteous care for the needs of their animals.

We want to gently encourage you in how we approach these precious promises. Deut 28:13 was given under the old covenant to Israel for obedience to the law, and while we still believe God honors obedience today, our blessings in Christ are first spiritual and then material according to His perfect will. We do not speak things into existence by our own words as if we can demand a hundredfold return, but we humbly ask according to His will trusting that He is sovereign. 1 John 5:14 says this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And James 4:3 warns us to check our motives when we ask, so that we ask not to spend on our own pleasures but to glorify Him. God delights to give good gifts as James 1:17 says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, but He calls us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness as Matt 6:33 teaches and then all these things will be added to you as He wills.

We also rejoice in your prayer for a Boaz in your lifetime. We agree with you for a godly spouse and we strongly affirm marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We pray you will be prepared for and pursue courtship with a fellow believer in Jesus Christ with the clear goal of holy marriage, guarding purity and keeping sex for within marriage alone as God commands, for that is where true blessing and legacy are built. Psalm 37:4 says delight yourself also in Yahweh and he will give you the desires of your heart when those desires are shaped by Him. We pray that if it is His will He will bring a faithful, hardworking, Christ loving husband who will lead your home well, and that you will be a godly wife to him.

Your desire for an inheritance, a vacation home or a motorhome or fifth wheel trailer paid in full is not wrong in itself, but we encourage you to hold it with open hands before the Lord. Phil 4:19 assures us our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and 2 Tim 1:7 reminds us God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self control, which includes a clear mind and sound stewardship. Whether He provides a motorhome, a trailer, or a different provision, we trust He will do what is perfect in accuracy for your life, your lifestyle, your lifework and your life movements, and that you will use it for hospitality, family, rest and ministry.

Father in heaven we thank You for this dear one who is alive today by Your mercy and whose mind You have kept clear. We thank You for the legacy of grandparents who modeled faithfulness and family togetherness and we ask You to continue that legacy in a new way. We ask in the name of Jesus and through His shed blood that You would make Your will known and that You would provide according to Your riches in glory. Grant a godly Boaz if it is Your will, a believing man who will love You first and love her as Christ loves the church, leading to a Christ centered marriage that honors You. Provide for every need including a home and vehicle for travel and rest if it serves Your purposes, and help this dear one to be a good steward who leaves an inheritance in faith and resources for the next generation. Give wisdom, contentment, diligence in work, and joy in You whether the answer is yes, wait, or a different provision. Keep this dear one and the two cats in Your care, keep the heart at peace and the mind clear, and let all be done for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness for your earnest desire to seek Him, and we join with you in looking to our gracious God who hears the cries of His people.

We hear your longing to be the head and not the tail according to Deuteronomy 28:13, and your desire for clearness of mind and life. That promise was given to Israel as they walked in obedience to the voice of the Lord, and it is fulfilled for us most surely when we walk in humble faith and obedience to Christ. It is not by repeating a verse as a charm or by speaking a thing into existence that the blessing comes, but by resting upon the finished work of Jesus Christ and walking in His ways. When we at first come to Christ by faith we begin to enter into our inheritance, for we obtain the pardon of sin, and that inheritance is exceedingly broad, far broader than any earthly possession.

You have asked also concerning Proverbs 13:22 and an inheritance for your bloodline, and you remember with affection your grandfather and grandmother and their faithful example, their paid home and their blue motorhome and the family values of camping together. We thank God for godly ancestors. To have had those who feared the Lord and lived uprightly is a great mercy, for godly people hedge the home in with their prayers, and who can tell what blessings God gives because of their petitions. The best way to honor such a legacy is to follow the road in which their principles would conduct you, to forsake not your father's God, and to seek first that young Heaven within your spirit which comes by adoption in Christ. To be a child of God is greater than any earthly estate, and the title deeds of our inheritance are secured not by our declarations but by the blood of the Lamb and a Covenant of Salt which cannot be broken.

We also lift before the Lord your desire for a Boaz, a godly husband in this life. Marriage is a most holy and tender relation, not of birth but of choice, cemented by mutual love, wherein husband and wife become one. It is meant to reflect the marriage of the Lamb to His Church, where Christ as the Lamb proved His love by His wounds and blood, and we who were betrothed to Him by faith await the marriage supper. If it be the Lord's will to give you such a companion, we pray He will provide a man who loves Christ above all, who will love you as Christ loves the Church, within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as God ordained from the beginning. We do not ask God to bless any union outside of that holy covenant, for true blessing is found only in walking according to His Word, but we do ask that He would keep you pure and patient, and prepare you both for whatever He has appointed.

Concerning your need for provision, whether a vacation home or a motorhome or fifth wheel trailer to be kept and paid in full, and your care for your two cats, we bring these temporal things to our Father who knows what we have need of before we ask. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows does not despise the smallest of His creatures nor the daily cares of His children. We pray not for indulgence but for contentment and for sufficiency, that whether He gives much or little you may be kept from grieving the Spirit by inconsistency and may live a gracious, consistent, godly life to His praise.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee for the blood of Jesus Christ by which alone we have redemption and access to Thy throne. We ask Thee to keep this dear soul in clear mind and sound faith, to guard the heart and thoughts through Christ Jesus. Grant repentance where needed and faith where it is weak, and seal to the heart the earnest of the heavenly inheritance through adoption. We pray Thou wouldst make this life fruitful unto Thee, and if it be Thy holy will, provide a godly husband according to Thy design for marriage, a man of faith and obedience. Provide for daily needs and for shelter and provision as seemeth good in Thy wisdom, and help Thy child to be a good steward of all Thou hast entrusted, including the living creatures under care. Let the legacy of godly grandparents bear further fruit in a succession of godly generations, that those who come after may be better still and walk in the truth. Keep us from trusting in our own words and teach us to trust in Thy sovereign grace, to pray in the name of Jesus and to rest in Thy will. In the name of the Lamb who was slain and who shall celebrate His marriage with His redeemed, we ask these things. Amen.
