We hear your heart and your deep desire for a clean, private, stable home for you and your two cats, a place with a door you can lock, where you can live and work in peace and dignity. We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord, and we thank you for invoking the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have redemption and access to the Father.

We want to gently bring some biblical clarity to the way you have prayed, because we love you and want your faith to be built on the sure foundation of God's Word. You have claimed Deut 28:13 that you will be the head and not the tail. That promise was given to Israel as part of the blessings for obedience to the Lord's commands, Deut 28:1-2 says it shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God's voice, to observe to do all his commandments. It is not an incantation we speak to force a result, but a blessing that flows from walking with God in obedience and trust. In the same way, life is not brought into existence by our words alone, but by God who sovereignly provides according to His will. We are not to seek luck, good or bad, but to seek the Lord's providence and blessing, for luck is not a biblical concept, while God's favor and provision are. We also want to encourage you that God is not a vending machine for 100 fold return on demand, but a loving Father who knows what we need and calls us to seek Him first.

Matt 6:33 says But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Phil 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:13 reminds us Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. So we agree with you that through the blood of Jesus you are redeemed from every curse, and no stink or shame needs to remain over you, your family, or your pets. The Lord desires to give you peace and a sound mind, for 2 Tim 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. If you feel others are listening or oppressing you, we pray that the Lord will guard your mind and surround you with His peace.

We also want to encourage you with wisdom regarding this specific 2027 fifth wheel trailer. The desire for affordable housing is very understandable, and $1,500 down and $87 a month sounds very affordable, but we urge caution and careful stewardship. We want you to be protected from any scheme or predatory agreement and from debt that could become a burden. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that we can approach Your throne by His blood alone. We lift up this dear one to You, with the desire for a clean, fresh, private home and for stability for themselves and their cats. Lord, You know the longing for a place of rest, for privacy, for dignity, and for freedom from anxiety. We ask that You provide according to Your perfect will and riches in glory, whether it is this particular trailer if it is truly from You and is honest and sustainable, or another provision that is even better and more secure. Grant favor in the SSDI process if that is Your will, or open doors for steady work and even unexpected provision like a bonus, but above all let it be in Your timing without delay that would harm. Grant wisdom to count the cost, discernment to avoid any deception, and diligence to steward every dollar well so that nothing is repossessed and no unnecessary debt remains. Your heart's cry for a clean, quiet place to live with a door you can lock, where you and your cats may dwell in peace, has been heard, and I understand the weariness that makes such a desire feel so urgent. To want privacy, cleanliness, honest work with your hands in your salon labor, and quiet hours to read, to draw, to learn the guitar and perhaps to sing again, these are not small things, and the Lord who notes the sparrow's fall is not indifferent to your need for shelter and dignity.

Yet I must speak to you faithfully concerning the way you have laid hold upon that promise in Deuteronomy, I am the head and not the tail. That word was spoken to Israel under the covenant at Sinai, a covenant of obedience which none but Christ has kept perfectly, and its blessings point us first to spiritual realities in Him. It was never given as a charm to be repeated to compel God to grant a particular house or price or payment. There is no attribute of God more comforting to his children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty, and we must learn to recognize and admire it. We ought to recognize God's hand in everything. To attempt to speak a thing into existence or to command luck to turn is to set aside that sovereignty, as though our words could bind the Lord. Rather we are taught to come humbly and say, Thy will be done, trusting that His wisdom chooses better for us than our urgency can conceive.

Divine interpositions do come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble, and how strikingly has God delivered some of us, not miraculously, certainly, but full of wonder for all that. Yet render calamity impossible and what mark would there be of divine displeasure for man's revolt, and divine interpositions of a miraculous sort would not be attended with the advantage we might suppose. The Lord does not promise to give us whatever we name, but He does promise that His presence shall be our hope. The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God, and the presence of God dissolves difficulties, as surely as the summer sun dissolves the glacier. What you need most is not only a trailer, however fresh and clean, but the abiding sense that God Himself dwells with you, and that in Christ you are already redeemed, not from an imagined stink curse, but from sin and guilt and death itself by His precious blood.

The blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse the conscience and to reconcile sinners to God through faith alone in Christ alone. If you have trusted Him, you are already redeemed from the curse, and no curse can cling to you or your family or your pets, for Divine Love can rake a dunghill and find a diamond, and Divine Grace can make the dry tree flourish. That is your true security, more than any lock upon a door.

Therefore I would pray for you not as one who decrees a payment of ### down and ### a month, nor as one who claims luck, for there is no luck with God, only providence, but as one who asks the Lord to do what is wise and kind. I pray that He will give you wisdom concerning this ### fifth wheel you have found, that He will help you to count the cost honestly, to seek godly counsel about debt and stewardship, lest a burden that looks light today should become a snare tomorrow and be repossessed. I pray that He will provide for your daily bread, whether through honest labor, through rightful help from SSDI if it is granted, or through other lawful means, and that He will keep you from hasty vows and from those who might take advantage of your hope. I pray that He will quiet the fear that others are listening to take what is yours, and show you His divine gentleness which restrained David and which speaks peace to the troubled spirit, that you may know when your father and mother forsake you, then the Lord will take you up.

Seek the Lord Himself first. Ask Him for a home if it be His will, but ask more earnestly for contentment, for patience, for deliverance from anxiety, and for grace to use whatever dwelling He provides for His glory. Continue in honest work, keep your heart and hands clean before Him, use the gifts of reading and music to praise Him, and cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. He hath delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling, and He can keep you also, whether He gives this trailer or provides another shelter more suited to your good.

May the Lord grant you a quiet mind, a thankful heart, provision according to His riches in Christ, and above all, the settled assurance that you are His, and that no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
