I'm Taking It Back

Lord God I step boldly before Your throne today, and I boldly speak out and lay claim to what is mine. Father God over the last several months the enemy has slowly crept into my life and taken over, and that ugly creep got away with it, I never realized what was happening until now, and Lord it was almost too late, well, Father, I refuse to let go, to give up, give in, get down, or anything else that would allow the enemy victory in my life. He has got to go Father and for this I trust in You and You alone, not mankind, not any addictions, and not anything of the world, only You Father can see me through this, so here I am, I lay it at Your feet, and release it all to You. I refuse to allow myself to feel like I do now ever again. Lord wash me white as snow, replace my bulb, let me shine bright again. Hold me close to You Father, I acknowledge I am unworthy of Your love, grace and mercy, I thank You for forgiving me of my sins when I do not deserve it.

I ask You Lord God to stand before me, beside me, and behind me as I take a stand and take my life back from the enemy. I place You as my armour, my sheild, and my front line strongman today.

I seek peace, grace and mercy in all areas of my life, the lives of my children, and the lives of those affected by my actions, words or attitudes.

I give everything to You right now, Don, my finances, my children, my job, my marriage, my worries, my trials, and my entire life, take me, make me, break me, mold me into an image of You Father. I ask these things in Jesus name amen.

God bless you Liz. I don't think i've ever read or heard a better example of giving over ones heartaches and troubles such as this. Giving over ones body, soul, mind, etc...to the father to mold and make of you what he will. Sure, we do it when we ask for the Lord to come into our hearts, but do we desire it everyday like this? I wonder sometimes....I know I try to run my life at times, and usually, I fail. Thanks Liz for showing me to let Jesus take control again, and always. God bless you. Jesus, bless Liz for what she is asking for, fill her up with your spirit and will for her life...direct her in all things. Thank you Jesus, I love you. Amen.

Father, may the humble sincerity of Liz's prayer be a sweet sound in Your ear. May You grant her a new beginning in life, free from the encumbrances and worries of the past. Take full control of everything she is, everything she has, everything she holds on to that is of no value - take it all and give her an indwelling peace and comfort like she has never known. Empty her of all life's troubles, disappointments, trials and shortcomings, and fill her with Your grace, mercy, direction and love. Guide her into an intimate walk with You and build her life into something grand! May she always trust and lean on You, for Your word is sovereign and true.
