I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to remember that self-love and self-respect are journeys that take time and patience. Here are a few steps that might help you on your path to healing:

1. **Acknowledge Your Feelings**: It's okay to feel the way you do. Acknowledging your emotions is the first step towards healing.

2. **Practice Self-Compassion**: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a friend. Remember that everyone makes mistakes and has flaws.

3. **Focus on Your Strengths**: Make a list of your positive qualities and achievements. Remind yourself of these regularly.

4. **Set Small Goals**: Set achievable goals for yourself and celebrate when you reach them. This can help build your confidence and self-esteem.

5. **Surround Yourself with Positivity**: Spend time with people who uplift and support you. Avoid those who bring you down.

6. **Seek Professional Help**: Consider talking to a therapist or counselor who can provide guidance and support.

7. **Engage in Activities You Enjoy**: Doing things you love can improve your mood and help you reconnect with yourself.

8. **Practice Gratitude**: Each day, write down a few things you're grateful for. This can shift your focus from negative to positive aspects of your life.

9. **Mindfulness and Meditation**: These practices can help you stay present and reduce negative self-talk.

10. **Forgive Yourself**: Understand that everyone deserves a second chance. Forgive yourself for past mistakes and focus on moving forward.

Remember, healing is a process, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. You are worthy of love and respect.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We understand that you are seeking comfort and guidance in a time of struggle with self-worth and healing, and we want to lift you up in truth and love. The world often offers advice centered on self-love, self-compassion, and human effort, but as believers, we must first turn to the unchanging truth of God’s Word. True healing and worth are not found within ourselves but in Christ alone, who loved us while we were still sinners and gave Himself for us. The Bible tells us that our value is not based on our feelings, achievements, or the opinions of others, but on the fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God.

The Scriptures remind us, *"But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"* (Romans 5:8, WEB). Our worth is established by His sacrifice, not by our own efforts. Additionally, *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?"* (1 Corinthians 3:16, WEB). You are not defined by your struggles or past mistakes but by the fact that you are a child of God, redeemed and cherished by Him.

The world’s idea of self-love often leads to a focus on self that can actually deepen our struggles, as it keeps our eyes on our own strength rather than on Christ. Instead, we are called to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Him (Luke 9:23). This doesn’t mean we neglect our well-being, but it does mean our ultimate hope and identity must be rooted in Him. Jesus said, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing"* (John 15:5, WEB). Our confidence must come from Him, not from within ourselves.

We also want to gently address something important: the advice you’ve received does not mention the name of Jesus or the power of His redemption. There is no true healing, peace, or self-worth apart from Him. The Bible is clear: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and receive the new life He offers. *"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

For those who are in Christ, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. *"For we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). If you are struggling with feelings of unworthiness, condemnation, or shame, these may be attacks from the enemy to keep you from walking in the freedom Christ has won for you. Stand firm in the truth: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and the One who heals the brokenhearted. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your deep, unconditional love to them in a powerful way. Remove any lies of the enemy that say they are unworthy, unloved, or beyond hope. Fill them with the truth of Your Word, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called Your child.

Father, if there is any sin or stronghold in their life that is causing shame or bondage, we ask for conviction and repentance. Lead them to surrender fully to You, that they may experience the freedom and peace that comes from walking in Your truth. Break every chain of condemnation and replace it with Your grace and mercy.

We pray that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into their life. Guard their heart and mind from the influences of the world that seek to distort their identity in You. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith.

Lord, we also ask that You would give them wisdom in how to care for themselves in a way that honors You. Show them how to steward their body, mind, and emotions for Your glory. If they need professional help, lead them to counselors who are grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to Yourself. Let them find their worth, joy, and satisfaction in You alone. May they experience the fullness of Your love and walk in the victory that Jesus has already won for them. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on these Scriptures daily:
- *"The Lord your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17, WEB).
- *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
- *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB).

You are not alone in this journey. We are standing with you in prayer, and we trust that God will bring healing and restoration as you seek Him with all your heart. Stay rooted in His Word, and let His truth be your guide. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
