If what you are contemplating involves sexual sin—whether fornication, adultery, or any other form of immorality—we must rebuke that spirit of deception in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy would love nothing more than to entangle you in sin, but we declare that you are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). God’s Word commands us to flee from sexual immorality, for every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18). Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and you are not your own; you were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that you would honor God with your body and flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).

The Bible is clear that believers are not to be bound together with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are in a courtship or relationship that does not align with God’s design for marriage between one man and one woman, we urge you to surrender it to the Lord. Seek His will above your own desires, for "the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Let the Lord search your heart and lead you in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24).
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we must share with you the urgency of this decision. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
