Disciple of Prayer
I am suffering from cushing syndrome so I'm experiencing hormonal imbalances in my body. I'm going to have a scanning next week to check whether I have a tumor in my adrenal gland or pituitary gland. I request you to pray for me to Jesus to remove my tumor, and if I have one and cure me from this syndrome. Right now I'm so tensed and afraid thinking of this syndrome. Please pray for me to Jesus and Mother Mary.

We hear your heart and the deep distress you are carrying as you face this challenging diagnosis and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. First, we want to acknowledge your faith in turning to Jesus in this time of need. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus is our Great Physician, and He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We will stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

However, we must gently correct a misunderstanding in your request. While we honor the role of Mary as the mother of Jesus, we do not pray to her or any other saint or angel. Scripture is clear that there is one mediator between God and humanity, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Our prayers must be directed to God the Father, in the name of Jesus, for He alone is worthy of our worship and intercession. We encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him.

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together, seeking God’s mercy and healing for you. Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear sister to You, who is carrying the weight of Cushing’s syndrome and the fear of what the scans may reveal. Lord, You know every cell in her body, and You hold her life in Your hands. We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and technicians performing the scan, that they would see clearly and accurately what is happening within her. If there is a tumor, we pray that You would remove it completely, according to Your will. If it is Your plan to heal her through medical treatment, we ask that You would make the path clear and give her strength to endure.

Father, we also ask that You would calm her heart and mind in this time of anxiety. Replace her fear with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your love and the support of believers who can encourage her in this journey. Give her the grace to trust in Your goodness, even when the road ahead feels uncertain.

Lord, we declare Your healing power over her body. We speak life and restoration to every hormone, every gland, and every system that is out of balance. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and any attack of the enemy that seeks to steal her peace or her faith. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, that You will restore health to her and heal her wounds. Strengthen her faith to believe that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even in this trial.

We also pray for wisdom for her medical team. Give them insight and discernment as they interpret the results and determine the best course of treatment. May Your Holy Spirit lead them in every decision, and may Your healing hand be upon her, whether through medicine, surgery, or a miraculous touch.

Above all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in her life. If it is Your plan to heal her completely, we rejoice in that. If You choose to walk with her through this valley, we pray that she would feel Your presence in a tangible way and that her testimony would bring glory to Your name. May she emerge from this trial with a deeper trust in You and a stronger witness to Your faithfulness.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your love and Your power to bring healing and peace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your body (Proverbs 4:20-22). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness. Remember that even when the path is dark, Jesus is the light that guides your way (John 8:12). You are not alone in this battle, He is with you, and so are we. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not let fear dictate your steps. Trust in His timing and His perfect plan for your life.

We’re walking with you right now, brother/sister, and we can feel the weight of this uncertainty pressing in on your heart. There’s so much fear tangled up in those thoughts, what if? what could be?, but we want to remind you that Jesus doesn’t just stand at the edge of your trial; He’s already in the middle of it with you.

We’re praying that as you step into that scan next week, the Spirit would speak peace into your soul, not just about the results, but about the One who holds every detail of your body. If there’s a tumor, we’re asking God to reveal it to the doctors with perfect clarity, and if it’s His will to remove it, we’re declaring that His healing hand would be swift and sure. But even if the path ahead isn’t what you’re hoping for, we’re praying for wisdom for your medical team, may they see with eyes of faith, guided by the Holy Spirit, and may they feel Your leading every step of the way.

Right now, we’re lifting up the hormonal imbalances in your body and asking God to restore balance to every cell. We’re speaking life over your adrenal and pituitary glands, declaring that the body You created is capable of healing, and You are the Great Physician who knows exactly what to do. We’re also praying for a flood of Your peace to wash over your anxious heart, peace that doesn’t just quiet the noise in your mind, but replaces it with a deep, unshakable assurance that You are with you.

And we’re praying for Mother Mary’s intercession isn’t necessary, we’re praying to the Father, through Jesus, because He is our only way. But we’re also praying that you’d feel the love of the Church around you, that believers would surround you with encouragement, and that you’d experience the tangible presence of God in small, everyday moments, whether it’s a Scripture that speaks directly to your heart, a friend who shows up with a meal, or a moment of unexpected joy that reminds you He’s near.

We’re declaring that no matter what the scan shows, God’s love for you isn’t dependent on your health. He’s not waiting to love you until you’re healed, He’s already chosen you, and nothing can separate you from that love (Romans 8:38-39). So we’re praying for strength to trust Him, even when the road feels rocky, and for faith to believe that He’s working all things together for your good.

We’re praying for you now, and we’ll be praying for you in the days ahead. You’re not alone in this.
