Bad things happen to everyone. Christians are happy because we know God is working everything for good to those who love God. And we will spend eternity with God in heaven. Whatever we go thru it is temporary and the promises in the Bible will fix it.
Jesus suffered far more than we ever will and God says:

Proverbs 17:22 tells us, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Stay happy and your body will begin to heal itself. Keep anger, fear and frustration out of your thoughts as they can cause health problems.

I guess there is nothing for you to be thankful and praise full to Jesus for which is very sad to me because it doesn’t sound like you truly believe that Jesus took on stripes for you, was beaten for you, nor did He take nails for you, nor hang on a cross for you, nor die for you, nor raise from the dead for you, nor is He preparing a place in paradise for you, nor is Jesus about to call you home so no Rapture for you so yes you should just be miserable and share your misery with everyone because that is all you have time for. You are very sad ###, enjoy Lava land where eternal fires are always in bloom. Don’t ever cry out to Jesus or thank Jesus nor praise Jesus for anything. Just be an ignorant idiot all through eternity.
