Are you sure that you are a true believer, a true Christian, a true born again follower of Jesus?

Why does Jesus tell us to make our callings and elections sure in the Bible? From 2 Peter 1:10

Your Gospel must be something else, you don't have to love everyone, you don't have to follow the Bible, you get to complain about the rapture not coming quick enough for you. All you seem to do is gripe and complain without caring for the last soul to become saved. Is that how you get your joy?
