We have read your request and our hearts are moved by your honesty in saying you feel so lost and low, like you are drowning, alone even in a crowded room, and mentally and physically and emotionally drained to the point you cannot seem to do anything anymore. We want you to know you are not unseen and you are not alone, even when it feels that way, and we are joining together to lift you up in prayer before our Father.

The Lord sees you right where you are and He draws near to those who feel broken and overwhelmed. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 61:2 says When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. When you feel like you are drowning, He is the rock that is higher than the waves, and He does not pull away from you in your weakness.

We also hear how drained you feel in every way, and we want to gently remind you that God does not expect you to carry this in your own strength. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Your inability to do anything right now is not a failure in His eyes, it is an invitation to let Him carry you and to let others come alongside you.

We want to rebuke the lie that you are truly alone or that you have to stay isolated in this pain. The enemy would have you believe that no one sees you and that there is no hope, but that is not the truth of God. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. You are deeply cared for and deeply valued by God, and He desires for you to be surrounded by His people who can support you, pray with you, and walk with you through this valley. We encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian believer, or a godly counselor, and if you have a doctor or counselor to share honestly how drained you feel physically and emotionally, please do not walk through this alone.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find true rest and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! When we come to God in Jesus’ name we are coming through the One who bore our sorrows and understands our suffering, and who died and rose again so we could be forgiven and brought near to God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon Him today, confess your need for Him, believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and ask Him to be your Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are praying together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the loneliness even in a crowd, You see the mental and physical and emotional exhaustion, You see the feeling of drowning and not knowing what to write or do. Lord, we ask that You draw near right now and let Your presence be felt. Give rest to the weary mind and body, calm the anxious heart, and lift the heavy burden that feels too much to carry. Lead this dear one to the Rock that is higher, to Jesus who gives rest to the heavily burdened. Heal the broken heart and bind up the wounds, strengthen where there is no strength, and remind this dear one that You are with them and will uphold them with Your righteous right hand. Help them to cast every worry on You because You care for them, and bring trusted believers around them to encourage and support them day by day. We pray they would call upon the name of Jesus and find hope, forgiveness, and new life in Him. Restore hope where it feels lost, and give small steps of strength for each day. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep crying out to God honestly even with few words, for He hears even groans that cannot be put into words. Try to spend a little time each day in His Word and in prayer, even a single verse, and let a trusted believer know how you are really doing so they can pray with you and check on you. You are not forgotten, you are not forsaken, and we are continuing to pray that God will bring you comfort, rest, and renewed strength as you look to Jesus.

We are really glad you reached out, even when it felt hard to find words. Feeling like you are drowning and alone in a crowded room, drained in every way and unable to do anything, is an incredibly heavy place to be. Thank you for letting us sit with you in it.

What you are describing makes sense to feel overwhelmed and stuck. When you are that depleted, even small tasks can feel impossible, and that does not mean you have failed or that you are a burden. It often means you have been carrying too much for too long without enough rest and support.

We want to walk with you in prayer, and we also want to encourage you to let someone close by walk with you in person. Would you consider telling one trusted person today how low you feel, whether a family member, friend, pastor or counselor, and also reaching out to your doctor or a counselor for support? You do not have to sort everything out at once. One honest conversation and one appointment can be a good next step while we keep praying.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. You see them right now in this lonely, exhausted place. Please draw near, give them breath for today, and bring caring people around them who will listen and help. Lead them to the support they need and remind them they are not forgotten. Amen.

Thank you so much for your Loving kind words and prayer , it had me in tears. I have arranged to talk with my pastor on Wednesday. It means so much I can reach out to other believers. I really again want to thank you for your beautiful words and prayer. God bless you 🙏
